Deckbuilding Deadline: 20th Dec GMT 03:00 Duel phase has started All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which editing decks is forbidden. Failure to have all of the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before duels.	Duels Deadline: 23rd Dec GMT 03:00 Fighting ends! Duel phase starts when deckbuilding ends. PM your opponent and try to find a suitable time. Time Zone Converter might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you both are online, please contact the Warmaster--Naii_the_Baf--immediately. If the match does not happen, you both lose by default unless one of you is clearly more active and flexible.
Event Card This EC is mandatory. Soldiers may only be selected from your own team. Soldiers selected may be different. Accumulative. If no selection is made, extra discards for own soldiers will be randomized. Not selecting a soldier for their opponent's discards will result in a 6 card penalty. Additionally, winning a match where you would have had increased discards if you lost gives 2 extra salvage. Post your selections in your team's secret board. Can we not play it out normally and have eliminations as normal (below 80)? We can have another rd after this potentially. The last round can be until the end of flash, so it’ll be like 9-10 days, so extra time to cater for Christmas.

EC example:

Team Air picks Naesala for extra discards, and Aves for extra opponents' discards.
w3 would have 6 extra discards if he loses. If he wins he'll get 2 extra salvage.
Naesala would have 6 extra discards if she loses. If she wins she'll get 2 extra salvage.
Aves' opponent (deuce) would have 6 extra discards if he loses. This is summed with the extra discards from being gen, so deuce would have 12 extra discards if he loses. If deuce wins, he'll only get 2 extra salvage, not 4.

Keep in mind this EC does not apply to both parties; e.g. if Naesala won in the previous example her opponent wouldn't have extra discards unless the EC was used on it by team Time.

@Naii would it be fine with you? with r10, we may be able to finish it the normal way in having last team standing instead of biggest vault.

About the duration of War, I received specific instructions before War started for War to end before Christmas and I wish to stick to that.

War should end before Christmas

Call me whatever, don't care. I did make mention of this and I will stick to it.


I wouldn't mind myself if War ran for longer; heck, I wouldn't mind if it finished in oEtG Legacy. I won't post a round during Christmas/New Year's Eve, though, so this is definitely the last round before flash dies.

This should be the last round. I can't be bothered to waste time on war during holidays. Don't have access to computer to play games during some of those days, too.

From what I'm reading here, what if whoever has the largest deck is the tentative winner?  But if there is more than one group left and flash doesn't actually die (as flash is simply not upgraded), that it is finished like normal after the holidays?  That seems like it would satisfy most everyone.  I know that I didn't participate, so I don't have any stake in this; it just seems like a common-sense answer.

I understand how many of you (myself included) feel bad about Flash dying soon. I also understand how this last War got loaded with problems.
Flash may die, but etg legacy lives on, and we may try another War, in the foreseeable future. Probably not too soon. And on that occasion we might
better preplan things to avoid controversies.

ps: Janice, your proposition is good, tried that a few rounds ago, no success. :/
