MW, higu, jijo, me and you. Thought weeaboo said air in top 4 too, but just realised that he didn't put the thoughts in order oops. Still, 5/8 i guess. Think the lower starting vault will really damage considering sofree's high cost. Lets see though

Now, here I come:

Overall observation: Nothing in the market pricing has changed radically, the only real variant is the bonuses, which I can not truely account for, but some teams will have a worse deal than others.

I don't feel like writing too much right now.

Expectations:

  and are again the two big favourites in my opinion.
  and have two very good teams, and will last either until the end or just before.
I expect , to also do well enough.
We at are going to miss JCJ's genius.
The remaining 5 teams could be in any order.

Prediction:

This is what will happen:

Top 2:
  Has the second best card base. Great team. Only their vault size are their weakness. A few losses early is the only thing that can stop them
  has the best card base. but loses vs air
Third place:
has a great card base but a small vault. Will still go third unless any of the above screw up.
forth:
Has a very versatile card base. A good and interesting team. A big vault. If they learnt their lesson from previous wars this is where they'll end up.
5-6:
second most versatile element. Also a big vault.
did win last war. They have a good tean. I don't think the card base will allow them to go higher this year though
7-9
the biggest vault and good general
most would put them higher. Strong card base, strong vs bows. But it won't take them any further, sorry.
a decent card base but a bit to easy to counter for the stronger elements
10-11
Just dosen't have what it takes to make it much higher, despite a good team. They may claim a few ranks but not top 6#
Light has more potensial than we have seen so far. But I'm afraid we won't see them go much further anyways.

  A wild card, could go anywhere...Has a strong and active team with just the right mixture of in element experience as out element experience. A small vault has slightly crippled them. If they do good the first 3-4 rounds they could go far.

After reading through other peoples opinions I made a second list.

- they literally have more players than the other teams lol and all four of them are solid
- good element but deuce is going to make all their decks 50% aether and tbh there's no synergy between those two elements
- it's aether
- i skip war for a few years and life starts winning? absolutely wild, i don't see it happening twice but clearly they're doing something well
- kali has had some strong performances lately and his decks have been solid. jen is good as always. have high hopes for this team and wish i could rank them higher, but earth isn't a top element in the shard meta
- i was going to put this team lower but then i saw how many trophies kaempfer had, like damn, dude clearly knows his stuff. issue is just that time has one of the weaker cardbases, and shards/upgrades haven't really helped it
- dd and rav on water together? it's like a 2011 dream come true. wish i could put this team higher but i don't wanna get my hopes up
- glad rob is still around but the team and element overall just seems kinda mid-tier
- team seems alright but we're just not in the era where discord and novabows dominate war anymore. shards and upgrades made it a lot harder to get a strong finish with entropy
- not really feeling it, sorry. i just haven't been seeing the right decks from fire lately, i guess it's a hard element to pilot
- as an element it has probably the most difficult cardbase for war, some of its decks are decent but it can't do a good enough job handling every archetype. with the right team it could break into the higher ranks but i don't see it happening this time around
- so i want to note that light has the capability to run some incredibly strong decks, and shards and upgrades have only been helpful to it. the challenge is both in building these decks and building decks to cover their weaknesses. i think light takes a very elite team in order to do well, and i don't see it happening this time around
