Deckbuilding Duel phase has started Deadline: 10th Feb GMT 0:00 Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. All team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat. All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which, editing decks is strictly forbidden. Failure to have all of the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before the duels start.	Duels Fighting ends! Deadline: 13th Feb GMT 0:00 Duel phase starts when deckbuilding ends. PM your opponent and try to find a suitable time. Time Zone Converter might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you both are online, please contact Warmasters--mathman101, ji412jo, and asdw152--immediately. If the match does not happen, you both lose by default unless one of you is clearly more active and flexible. Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round. Super Event Card Sharing: Upgrades may be moved around however the team wishes among their 4 decks. Decks must still have the required 4 in-element upgrades. If a deck will have less than 4 upgraded cards, all the upgraded cards must be in-element. Ex. a team sends Gen, Lt, Salv, Disc, they have 15+12+8+8=43 upgrades to split among the 4 decks. they may arrange them in any way they want (30/13/0/0, or 11/11/11/10, or any other combination) The minimum amount of upgrades per deck must not fall below the 4 in-element upgrades, nor shall any one deck have more than 50% upgrades from the SEC. (this means you can still fully upgrade a deck with relics) Stolen from War 7 - R10 Event Card Using less upgrades allows you the chance to salvage some of the cards from your own deck. This is not a requirement. Your total Salvage is still 6 (or 7 if 3-0), you just have the chance to salvage some from opponent and some from own deck. We took into consideration about the SEC, there were both many positive and negative feedback regarding it and we welcomed it all. Thank you for the advice.
We re-looked at balancing and feel that this adjustment will be a more positive experience for the majority. We are sorry to those in the minority that felt that the SEC was good the way it was, but thank you for the understanding.


Also our apologies for getting this round out a bit later than deadline. We hope that everyone is still able to deck build fully in the remaining time frame.

Does your deck have to win in order to benefit from the EC salvage? Also, if your deck gives upgrades away using the Super EC, does that then activate the EC?

yes your deck must win, as this is not separate salvage from your regular win salvage. This is 1 or 2 cards out of your 6 total. Ex. using 4 less upgrades, allows 2 salvage from own deck and then 4 salvage from opponents deck.

Yes, moving upgrades from one deck to another as per SEC will activate the EC for the deck with fewer upgrades.

Did anyone else interprete the SEC-errata as "no more than half of the total upgrades in your deck may come from super ec" ? Because i sure did and still do, regardless how often I look at it.

I always interpreted it as "SEC upgrades may not be used once your deck reaches 50% upgraded" however I suppose I see how it could be seen the other way
