Don't worry baby, the event card itself is good. it's just that the way losses were counted wasn't the best. I still don't think it's the best but right now I find it quite reasonable, and we don't really have to go to nineteenth parts to get things done.
The way it currently is makes sense. It slightly rewards teams for stopping the bleeding once it kicks in. And by slightly it means we're going to get memes out of this anyway.

Pooled together, but the ones using EC will get 8 salvage while those using super EC only get 6.

For soldiers using one boost only in non-EC matches, yes.

wait, so the ec doesnt have a soldier role (essentially having salvager preassigned and allowing to use salvager elsewhere)? And if you use over 6 SG-relics for matches (ok theres actually surprisingly many roles, unlikely to be a problem, though some of them may be useless) you can not use a soldierboost for them anymore?

and the question remains, where do we post decks for ec-matches?

Also while im at it can anyone of the team choose toplay the match? (probably yes, but should still be clarified)

Post all decks used for additional matches in secret section. You may use any boost as the natural boost on each additional match (it isn't bound by no duplicate roles rule).

If you use SG relics on a deck and it isn't recognized as legal by vault, note this in the Super EC thread in secret section. If unsure, include the deck code in the thread. I will fix vault for ya.

SG relic perks will be implemented at the end of deckbuilding (e.g. adding discard tokens). But you can use them this round. Note the use of the perk in the thread, and implement it into vault as if the perk has been implemented.

I know thats gonna make it long, but it should probably be mentioned in the Super EC description as well.

Also still confused whether we can use a boost for this rounds EC (I mean probably, otherwise it would be strictly worse than the SG-Relic as you could just use salvager role with sgrelic match)

No. You can have sideboard as normal role and use 5 sg relics to have a total of 6 sideboards for a 48 card starting deck
