I think you completely missed my joke.

I think you completely missed that Life was first for at least two rounds. Clearly, rapid is referring to the possibility of this EC being sent out in round 1.

Either Gens don't post decks until all matches played, or the EC matches don't get played until both Gens post their decks.

This should be posted with the EC.. well either of the possibility.
I don't know how the EC will pan out, but I do like it.  At this point, you wanna speed things up for the remaining teams and making air/gravy thinner will help that a lot... or it will just make other teams leave war faster giving a tons of air/gravy (or whoever manage to climb to 2nd place) matches faster.  I just wonder if generals will care much about this matchup and build a great deck and use relics for both the opponent and the potential matchups.  Afda will face gravy twice.. so I guess it will be interesting to see if gravy tries totally different stuff or a counter to whatever they expect from him twice (www also faces air twice!).  And ian from entropy can face whoever he wants.. much can be said on how much of a bang he will try to make, I just hope he will not pick darkness!

Do decks have to be posted immediately after the match for Generals? It seems unfair if one deck is known and one isn't-- this makes strategic maneuvering around match scheduling a possibility.

... shit, I hope that the WMs have foreseen a way around this logistical nightmare. Even if it's explicitly forbidden, good luck proving that, for example, I didn't leak web's deck to Afda or that Odii didn't leak Afda's deck to web (or the other way around; that is, Afda didn't leak web's deck to me or web didn't leak Afda's deck to Odii).

But we are in the same team....Like odii telling me afda's deck is not really a "backroom deal" cause im in odii's team. Best thing would be to have EC match first or last, where either you both know the decks or none do.

Having it first wouldn't really work, since a team can have several EC matches. They can't all be first.

Honestly I trust all generals, I don't think anyone would try to get an advantage by playing games later.

Yeah. And there's also the fact that considering you can't do any changes to your deck, that means knowing your opponent's deck 1 game earlier (since after game 1, you most likely know your opponent's deck) won't really change all that much except maybe in really close matches that all come down to skill.

You don't see all cards in game 1.... Knowing every card in your opponent's deck can be a huge advantage. You can play very differently if you know your opponent's deck has no CC or PC...
