WAR #10 Round 3
Trouble continues to stir among the 12 tribes of warriors. The mighty General of each team rallied their troops atop a well known beast from their region. A surge of energy pumps through the veins of each of the warriors, like a shot of adrenaline charging them up for battle.

Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. All team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat.

All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which, editing decks is strictly forbidden. Failure to have all of the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before the duels start.

PM your opponent and try to find a suitable time. Time Zone Converter might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you both are online, please contact Warmasters--mathman101 and Physsion--immediately. If the match does not happen, you both lose by default unless one of you is clearly more active and flexible.

Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round.

Can you apply the same boost multiple times?  i.e. could you go nuts and pick gambler eight times, winning 32 relics if you get the scoreline, but losing an extra 35 cards if you lose the match?

Um, it seems like you're misinterpreting that you apply multiple boosts to the SAME match... this EC is about using it more than once for your TEAM in the round. I.e. - Gen; Lt; Upgrades; Upgrades; Upgrades (5 matches for each team) across the five matches, not Gen; Lt; Upgrades/upgrades/upgrades/upgrades; Discard; Salvage/Salvage.

I understand it as being... You can use the boost "upgrade" 3 times alongside having a general and lieutenant. If you have 3 upgrade boosts... You upgrade 10 extra cards since you technically used the event card twice for the two extra upgrade boosts. If you have General, Lt, Upgrades, Merc and Gambler... The Event card doesn't affect you at all. Say if you use Gambler 3 times and get it correct each game... You get 15 relics but if you lose all 3 games you discard 10 extra cards...

If you use the event card and win all games, you don't discard OR salvage extra.

Considering what JCJ posted, I'm guessing the triple-Gambler-team will have to discard fifteen cards if they lost all three matches. WMs please confirm.

You may not use the event card to apply multiple copies of a boost to one specific player. The event card is used to field multiple copies of the same boost, not to stack them on top of each other.

Additional discards from the event card come from the vault, not the deck.
