That 120 shard of integrity cost looks very high for a card (I think) has not been even used last war, expecially because there is only one more costly shard in shard of patience

It is because it makes Shard Golem, a creature that can be devastating in combination with other Shards. It is high so it can't be abused. But yeah, I get your point, it is sad not to give :earth an advantage since it hasn't won any War yet. ;)

It is because it makes Shard Golem, a creature that can be devastating in combination with other Shards. It is high so it can't be abused. But yeah, I get your point, it is sad not to give :earth an advantage since it hasn't won any War yet. ;)

Except golem decks require a bunch of shards to work, which can't be done as reliably while having the deck be 50% earth and the price of the deck becomes astronomical, meaning the regular rules already nerf the deck enough.

Plus when other shards are already expensive, a SoI deck will that much more. It's really Physsion's hate for Shard Golem leaking through

For some reasons, there is very little reactions to the prices change.. I assume most people don't look at those much or don't know enough about the balance of price to comment...
The prices last war we're great for the most part save for a few exceptions so all was needed is a 5-10 cards adjustment where needed pretty much all the time.  What I see now is a ton of cards with priced that have been put way higher/lower because of the value of the card itself or to be in line with some similar cards in other elements... not because of how it mesh well in war standards... I am displeased by this a lot!  BTW I didn't even bothered to commen onn the SOI card price before because it's a 100% useless card in this form of war.. yet its price as been put way higher now!

Also, making an average without the 20 and less cards is ok.. unless these cards are actually used which is the case for some of them which is why the average price per use is a much better understanding of prices.

Well first place, how many each general have to spend? because to know if is expensive or cheaper depends this information...

doesn't matter much to me... as it is mostly a comparison of 1 card for another with the quality and price of it.   If you can afford more decks because soldiers price are lower then last war... it will also be the case the case for other teams. It would only matter if there is a drastic change in the number of available points which would mean that a fractal blue nymph deck won't hurt ya much if it loses of would destroy all your points at once!

 Looking there I realize that the cards most used in the last war have increases, seem fair to me, however also have cards that were already at a fair price in the last war and was increased, this is realy bad.

 Considering that each general receives the same to spend like last time, well this is similar like was to team light last time, then will be hard to all.

"To shorten War from 16 rounds to a more suitable 10-12, our options are to either reduce the number of initial points for vaultbuilding, or to increase discards per round. Since having a larger and more flexible vault makes for a more entertaining event, we think increasing discards per round is the more suitable method for shortening War."
