Polymorph PVP

Rules:

- Double Elimination tournament
- No Quantum Pillars or Nova allowed
- Only a copy of a single card (except pendula and pillars)

- Fractal is banned, because it breaks the rule.

- Decks have to be at least 40 cards

- Upgrades are allowed.

- Post your decks after a battle

Wouldn't mindgates also break this rule?

Metamorphosis:

Your deck must have exactly 7 different cards.
Every round, you have to change your mark, and replace 2 groups of the same card with the same amount of a different card.
You may use each mark only once for each round. You may not change to cards if you have used them in a previous round.
At the end, your deck must be completely different from what you started with.

I'm not sure how well this would work, it seems pretty difficult and would require some pretty deep strategy.

I got an idea for an FFA (free for all) pvp event

the map
-it is based on a map with hexagon shaped fields (six-sided, like the ones that will probably be used in world of elements, but this map is symmetrical (except for the terrains))

-Each player moves one or no hexagons each turn

-The mark the players use is equal to the color used on the map (so if theyre standing on a firered field, they use fire marks)

-white hexagons mean both players can use any mark they want

-each region is divided in 2 parts, the outer and the inner part, both parts have a different color, the outer color defines the regions element (for example, the fire region has rings of fire hexagons around a center of water hexagons)

-When multiple players land on the same hex, they fight

- when theyre 3 or more players on a single hex, the two players with the lowest amount of cards fight

-there are 6 'outer' regions (clockwise, starting up, water, life, air, fire, death, earth), every 'outer' region is connected with the two outer regions next to it (on the map, the connected hexagons are partly colored the region theyre connected with, zoom in for a better view)
this means every region has at least 4 sides to defend

- picture problem solved!
you will want to zoom in, at the bottom right is a minimap with all colors and corresponding elements, from up to down, from left to right

the players

-players choose an element they wish to start with, they are only allowed to play with cards of this element (with the exception of pendulums/pillars, they can be used freely)

-when players get to the center to one of the other 11 regions (the 'other region' doesnt count, you can always use other cards), they may use the element of this region too. For example, a player started with fire, he walked to the center of the water region, now he can play with water cards too (so it is possible for one player to get to all 12 regions their center and then they can play with all cards they want).

-all cards are unupgraded, read the - down of this one for the exception

-when players get to the center hexagon of the other region (its mainly white and its in the middle) (unlike in the other regions, you actually have to get to a single hexagon), they are allowed to use 5 upgraded cards in their deck

-players start with 60 card decks, every time players lose, they lose cards, when their card counts comes below 30, theyre out of the tournament, everytime players win, they win a card (if their card count becomes more then 60, they use 60-card decks)

-when a player loses on a white hexagon (where players are allowed to pick their mark freely), they will lose and win double the amount of cards.

-players are free to change their decks at any time, however, they do need to stick to their elemental and card limits (a player with 45 cards left in the tournament, HAS to make a 45-card deck)

- players are free to forge alliances, however, only one can win, and when they land on the same hex, they will still have to fight

I wouldnt mind to host this event if it gets approved (do i really have to say this in the post?)

12 Lives

-There are 12+ players, each with 12 "lives"
-Every time you lose a match, you lose a life and the ability to use a chosen element
-Lose all your lives and your out of the event
-Your elements that you've lost are public
-You can only face a player once
-Matches are played in best of 3.
-If it gets to the point where you've faced all remaining players you may face them a second time
-Last man or woman (that was for you Girlsgeneration) standing wins

-You have to play scheduled matches posted by the host, but you can play ahead (not recommended)

I'd like to host this event if it gets approved.  I will right out a full set of rules if the idea is liked.

I built a variant on it.

-There are 12+ players, each with 12 "lives"
-You get two scheduled matches at once.
-You can only face a player once
-You get three random assigned elements every battle from the one you still have
-If you have 5,3 or 1 elements, you get to choose where to put the "extra".

-If you win against an opponent that has in the battle elements an element you lost, you can get that element. (Only one).
-If it doesn't have any element you don't have, you get a point.
-If a players loses before battling with another one, that one gets a point.

-You can't change decks during a match
-You decide the element you lose.

-A use for points will be found.

This is a stub for an event.

This is a stub for an event.
Main Idea: You must fight two opponents trying to outlast the rest of the fighters using your 12 "lives", each representing an element.

Game Play:  Each round you are assigned two opponents who you must fight using your remaining elements.  Every time you lose a battle you lose an element you have chosen.  These elements are public.  Games are fought in best of three style.  If you lose your first game (of that round) you can use still use it in the second match of that round, but not in any matches after that.  The last player with any elements wins.

Deck Building:  You can use any unupped cards that are left in your set of elements.

(cheating rule in all events)

This game requires at least 12 players.

This event is rather simple, but being stupid me I can't think of what else I need to add, even though I know I need to add something.

It's actually quite complex. If you have twelve players, each with 12 elements, and they can only lose one element each round, that's twelve rounds before anyone loses. And many people would still have many elements left. You're looking at probably 200+ battles. You might be able to figure out exactly how many it would take minimum and maximum.

Minimum is 6 rounds. Two battles per round. Probably, you could lose two element for each battle you lose, and win one each battle (using same rules as before).

Still, I don't know what to do with points.

King of the Highlander
3 significant rules:-

Deckbuilding
- Everyone can only use a single copy of any cards except towers/pendulums
- Upgrades allowed, a deck can not contain both unupped and the upgraded form of a card

Playing
- Everyone sign up and then 1 player chosen at random will start as the 'King', another one will be the 'challenger'
losing King will lose the title to the challenger and whoever wins 4/5/6* times in a row will be awarded King of the Highlander and thus endeth the event
- Challenger can only challenge twice/thrice* before being barred from challenging the King and they can't do it back to back

Banned card(s)
- Fractal
- Nightmare
- Mind Gate

* depends on the number of entries/participants

Hey someone should make a pvp event and then make it based on Star Wars like how each player would build a deck based on a character from Star Wars.  And it would not be the geekiest event ever, at all.
