This is known as a "pillar-pendulum split" and its purpose is to make it harder for Earthquake to destroy your quanta sources (3 in one stack can be destroyed in one use, but 3 across 2 stacks takes 2 uses).

to add more on the split thing, it is only really useful against seism, and probably only improves the win rate by 1% or 2% total, but it's worth it if you have the pendulums

It also helps against Dream Catcher and, of course, if you're going to use it against any other opponent (RoL/Hope is very good against Arena, actually).

Interesting, so basically the more stacks of pillars/pendulum you have, the more you make ineffective Permanent/Pillar control, right?
I have started to deal with false gods since just a few days, so I still don't know very well all the different decks, especially the ones I skip using Firecell..I'm trying to build a RoL/Hope, but I still need a few thousands  :electrum to up the Photons...

Correct, it's hard to completely deny an upped deck. Dexterity in Arena helps them, but RoL/Hope only needs to play 1-3 Fractals, depending on the matchup. The main reason it jumps in winrate against FG's is because you get the big Hope you need going much, much faster.

I have collected a few sweated coins finally, and I have decided to try all the three most famous SEMIUNUPPED  FG farmers:

I have played most of the time with Firecell, after I moved to RoL/Hope, but, unsatisfied after a while, I decided to try also Limitless Speed, general impressions (note that are really impressions, as I haven't kept track of statistics and results):

Firecell is very cheap and potentially works unupped and rareless (even if I consider it semi unupped as upping the hourglasses is quite important), the strategy is very simple (and after a while boring imho), most of the times the combo requires only 4 cards (vulture, fractal, RoF, skyblitz) and 15/18 :death 10 :aether 7 :fire 9 :air , and it's very efficient with at least 10/13 FGs, the only risk is a bad drawn with the shields, or (minor problem) with afla and HGs, sometimes lack of mana (mainly  :time and  :death)

RoL/Hope is (relatively) fast when getting a good drawn, the strategy requires a little more of attention compared to Firecell, depending on the FG (and it's also important to know each FG, as the strategy may have to be adapted, ex. min number of RoLs to keep on the field)...this makes it less boring, but (probably because of my lack of experience with FGs) also less efficient than Firecell, as, despite of a list of 10/15 easy/playable FGs, my results have been not so good: I don't have statistics and I played with Firecell much longer, but the impression I have is that it's easier to farm with Firecell (note: I'm saying easier, not more efficient)

Limitless Speed is the one that has deluded me the most: the slim (partially) unupped version is almost as slow as Firecell, and it's more sensitive to bad drawns, poison and, most annoying of all, clogged hand! Probably I have been unlucky, but more than a few times I had got the combo in my hand too early (not enough quanta), or I have been with 7/8 of combo without shields left, scared to use the Hourglass trying to get the other shield..

of course the fact that I've used Firecell much more makes its results more believable, while with the other two I may have just been unlucky/inexperienced, but that said:
1 - Is it possible that the links I refer to are old and with the latest version of the game this decks (especially LS and RoL/H) have to be fixed a little bit?
2 - Which one is worth to upgrade to substantially increase the EC/h?
sorry for the long post..

my experience with limitless speed has been pretty good, very good win rate against the non-skip gods, though I am using the 40-card version with sanctuaries, so you might want to give that a try

RoL/Hope is the only one that gets substantially better with upgrades. For rainbow FG killers, there are other upped alternatives. LS and Firecell are specifically designed to work unupped and semi-upped.

Especially the quanta upgrades help RoL/Hope a TON (much like MA) and puts it at the top of Shardless FG killers along with upped Monoaether and Ghostal. Once it has upped the quanta, you should cut it down to 5 Towers and 5 Pends, as a smaller deck means more consistent draws. After quanta upgrades come the Dragons, then Lobos, then Fractal. Upgrading Hopes is optional since a higher cost means you might go another turn without Hope, making it worse than the unupped Hope.

You can check this info at any time in this RoL/Hope variant thread I made long, long ago: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/duo-decks/perpetual-light-(standard-rolhope-always-up-to-date)/
I wish my old Wiki articles were intact as well, since they explained how to play optimally vs. every single FG with RoL/Hope. I used that beauty for months and months on end. I'm sure you've seen the old God-by-God breakdown since it's in the mostly unupped RoL/Hope thread. Most of the info is still correct since this is one of the absolute oldest FG killers out there and quite possibly the only one that hasn't changed at all over the years: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/duo-decks/my-rolhope-(mostly)-unupped/

I have to say that the version you suggested works better for me, 5 FGs=2 skipped, 3won-->3cards!  :D :D :D
definitely, now I understand why you need to play tens (hundreds..) of matchs to evaluate accurately a deck...

RoL/Hope is the only one that gets substantially better with upgrades. For rainbow FG killers, there are other upped alternatives. LS and Firecell are specifically designed to work unupped and semi-upped.

...
The way I see it, FC and LS are based on one turn kill, so relatively easy, simply because most of the times you just have to wait and it's really not worth it to try and kill a FG that's on the skiplist...with RoL/Hope it's different, as the more you up it, the more chances you get with more FGs, and at the same times you actually HAVE to play, in the same way you do (let's say) in PvP, following accurately the gameplay, the cards that have been played, trying to guess what the FG is going to play, etc...and of course, is more important to know each single FG deck (it's important also with the OTK decks, but less)...so, I'll keep on trying all the three of them, trying to avoid skipping until I'll get confident with each single FG strategy

Correct, and this is true for all of the best FG killers. MA, Ghostal, Voodoo Bravery and Brave Malignant Balls are all played differently depending on what FG you're facing and what draws they're having. It's necessary to learn the FG's to get a good gain/hour going, and it won't take you very long with a good, fun deck. There are only 29 of them, and they're all very distinct and different, plus the majority are easy to medium difficulty.
