This deck is purely a combo gimmick and any kind of early pc means you may as well reset but the combo is really fun and satisfying to pull off.
Strategy is to chain sundials and ALWAYS draw a card, there are no circumstances where you don't need the extra draw power with this deck
Then play RoL>Nightmare>Solar Buckler
you want minimum 2 Nightmares when the opponents hand is emptier.
play turns with just the solar buckler and whatever RoLs you have until you have 39/52 light quanta.
Then drop the Desiccation and as many dragons as you can.

Yeah, I'm familiar with Day Traitors it's a super solid deck, at one point I used it for about a month straight.
But I've always wanted to find a way of making use of Desiccation's quanta gen and this is probably the best way to do it.
you could probably also do it with Damselflys which would allow for Sky Blitz/SoFre, still probably wouldn't be as effective though.
