Yeah, war bonus sucks now. You get war bonus only if you were extremely lucky and got in the team you wanted.
Earlier, you had a very good chance to be able to loyal to the element of your choice.

War bonus should be based on your listed 'Favorite Elements' for the auction or something else, than on the team you were on. Unless you win Trials and are the general, you don't have much control over what team you end up on. Should people start refusing to play for 11/12 teams in War so they don't start out behind in Trials?

On the other hand, Loyalty bonus is a great thing.

That was exactly what I had thought when reading rules. This solutions sounds very good.

Rest looks fine, though a bonus for Brawl might indeed be a good thing. This needs the same ruling as war bonus, of course.

yeah, at least bonus 2 to masters and 1 to brawl member winners, when I saw any team of war receiving bonus then thought about it.

This suggestion regarding the War Bonus seems a very good modification considering the lack of control a non-General has in the Draft/Auction systems in War.

Thanks for the suggestion, we've incorporated this with a minor reduction (as War with an element does provide some extent of reputability with the element.

We expected Brawl to not have its elemental ties incorporated in, but this time we had all bosses as masters. So Brawl bonus added in. This bonus may or may not remain in the future.

 Wonder! surely encourages trialists to better interact with the community. After all, besides masters  Brawl have some trialists too.

I am not sure about others, but as for myself I can guarantee my Brawl experiences have nothing to do with my decision to participate in or abstain from Trials.  Also, nothing about my previous two Trials experiences does anything for motivating me to participate in or abstain from Brawl.

Trials and Brawl are almost as different as two events can be in Elements and on this Forum.
Team <-> Individual
PvP <-> not PvP
Rounds of similar nature <-> phases of dissimilar nature
Produces one winning team <-> produces multiple winners in each element
...

My opinion only counts so far as this post on the S&F, but here it is -- Brawl bonus does not belong in Trials.  This has nothing to do with my winning Brawl or not (I was not on the winning team but the team I was part of did finish third so I guess the +1 point is nice anyways).

 I disagree with that because in previous trials we see as many questions "you will lead your team in Brawl?" also for example glennfoo and timpa have many votes because Brawl, and as said before it is interesting to see masters and trialist do more than pvp.

 One thing, I can agree that in Brawl don't have the characteristic elemental, save just the name of team and the master when is boss.

My viewpoint is that masters should not get dibs as bosses. The reasons being exactly the ones rob pointed. But since they do get dibs, being a boss is part of the 'master package' and so Brawl should count something for people trying to be masters.
