Since both Trials Overseers will probably be participating in Trials this time, we have set down some rules concerning Trials Overseers:
- TrOs participating may NOT receive any bonus points during phase 1
- TrOs hand over entire management of their element to the other TrO
- In case of a ruling covering both TrOs, the ruling is settled by Admin Higurashi
If you have any issues regarding fairness, please contact the TrOs or the Admins.
We would also like to state that glennfoo is banned from participating in Trials until he posts his decks in the 8th Trials of Fire Final Battle (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/trial-final-battle-results/(8th-trial-of-frire)-vangelios-5-4-glennfoo/) thread. In the future, failure to post decks will be dealt with more strictly by the TrOs.
We understand that there might be time concerns, but we believe that posting decks is essential to the event's proper management, and the enjoyment of spectators. It is expected from Trialists to publicly post their decks in all phases so that others may learn from them. We hope you all will comply.

To everyone who haven't posted their War/Brawl/Loyalty Bonus descriptions in their respective Challenger's entrance threads (I'm looking at you, Masters) please do so as soon as possible.

The registrations for the 9th Trials have ended. If you have not finished your Phase 1 tasks, you must do so within - No, you can't do them anymore.
Due to the Trials of Entropy receiving one sure challenger, it is now under Extra time. If you wish to join the Trials of Entropy under Extra Time, please post in this thread with necessary requirements. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/trial-of-entropy/9th-trials-challenger%27s-entrance-58327/msg1189616/#new) You will be considered to have declared for tasks Waging War on FGs, Starting Your Own Little War, and Beginning War Training. However, because you completed no challenges before Phase 1 ended, you WILL NOT have access to the upgrades from Beginning War Training. Nor will you receive any points for Phase 1.

dark ripper has withdrawn from Trials due to personal reasons, and Captain Scibra has remained inactive for a long time. So we are removing them both from trials, and to prevent more hassle on the part of STANDIN, will be awarding free wins to all their remaining opponents. Each of their opponents with matches remaining against them will receive a win in each match they were supposed to play against them, but will also have to give up an instance of an element in their element pool. The element chosen for this should be posted after Phase 2 matches end.
If Captain Scibra returns before the end of Phase 2 and wishes to continue with Trials, then he will be able to play his matches.
Also, note that Physsi's bonus points have been awarded! Thanks to all those who put in their efforts in Phase 1, hope you enjoy the rewards!

A change has been made to the rulings regarding flyingcat's Phase 2 games.
Zawadx and I have agreed that the previous announcement regarding flyingcat's games is unfair towards participants who have already played their Phase 2 games against him.
Instead of all games automatically being treated as losses, participants will instead be asked to provide evidence that they made an attempt to contact flyingcat and arrange time for a game.
- If they are able to provide evidence of attempted contact, their score will be updated to match that of any already-played games by any in-element participants. (e.g. Fire participants claiming wins against flyingcat will receive a 5-1 score to match RootRanger's result.) In the case where no other in-element participants played any games against flyingcat, all of flyingcat's games will be treated as losses.
- If they are not able to provide evidence, all games will be treated as draws.
This reflects the rulings in the Phase 2 section, as flyingcat was active at the beginning of the Phase;
"If both players can provide sufficient evidence that they tried to make a match happen, but were unable to complete it, the TrOs reserve the right to award up to 0.12 points (per game) to each player for a draw."
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. This decision has been made to provide fair treatment to players who complete their battles earlier in the Phase, and to prevent giving an advantage to those leaving their games until the end. This is being announced in case the rulings need to be referred to again in future Trials.

But please get your decks posted ASAP. Unless you post your decks properly by the end of Phase 3, you will NOT be allowed to participate in the Final Battle.
