Crusader does nothing for monos, but for duos, it can open up many possibilities.
Not quite nothing... it may not be able to Endow Morningstars, but it can target both weapon slots.  With an appropriate Mark (if you know who you'll be facing), or Quantum Towers (if you don't know), or even just Crusaders by themselves (if your opponent will likely be running Vampire Stiletto, Discord, etc.), you can run a couple Crusaders in order to turn your opponent's weapon against him.  None of these require non-Light/Other cards - in fact, as "mono" includes Other, you can even run Gavels, Dirks, Longbows, or Longswords with the requisite boost-mark.

Sanctuary is especially potent in certain duo decks - Pegasus comes to mind, as with Air mark you can also fit Fog Shield.  Hax shield plus healing is a surprisingly powerful combo.

How important is community (both keeping existing players and attracting new ones) to you?  How much influence do you think Masters have in effecting community and how do you think you could contribute if you were to be Master?
While I like to see new faces, I really want the old players to stay. I'll hope to give them a fun War so they will keep enjoying Elements.

Light has received 2 new cards, Crusader and Sanctuary, in the past 3 patches.  How does the addition of these cards change Light's strategy as a mono or various duos with Light?
Neither help the mono very much, but both cards are great choices in Duos. Crusader is a great attacker in Light/Entropy duos with Discord and a key card in a duo with Vampire Daggers. In the right decks, it can be the mid-ranged attacker that Light has always needed. Sanctuary is a valuable healing card in Light decks that don't use Solar Shield, such as Firestall and Dune Scorpion stall. It also helps keep a StoneSkin/Miracle deck alive long enough to use StoneSkin to its full potential. Both cards greatly increase Light's versatility and strength.
Somehow still around, somewhat

A recent patch has given Light access to a powerful card known as Sanctuary.

This addition made Light much better at stalling, but as a result...

It also made every single other element much better at stalling.

With every other element having the capability of effectively using your own card against you, what would you do to get around that?

Light is naturally better at using Sanctuary than other elements, because it can use its own quanta.  Also, the Sanctuary status effect doesn't harm Light monos, only very specific duos.  The addition of Sanctuary favors Light decks - Sanctuary can be used in SoG-forbidden events, but unlike SoG, decks cannot automatically pack Sanctuaries "for free."

Of course there's no denying that a lot of stall decks pack Sanctuaries, but this doesn't change Light's game much... if you are playing a Light rush, it's no different than if you came up against a Light stall; if you're playing a stall, you're likely to out-stall for simple reason of the easy inclusion of Miracles in your deck.

Sanctuary is, however, vulnerable to PC.  If I knew I was likely to face a Sanctuary-based stall deck, I might run Rangels with some Deflagrations.  Or Vader Sader with a couple Steals.

Question to all challengers:

Light has always been important in religion, and often associated with the Top Gods.
Do you feel like the element light should get far from this standard?

And make a new deck using unupped angels that's not Rage Potions.

I don't believe Light needs to stray from religious icons, but simply from explicit representation of real-world religious institutions.  Angels, holiness, crusades, crusaders, etc. are fine... a card titled "Buddhist Mantra" or "Pope" would not fit.

Guardian Angels without Rage?  That's simple: Armagio Tanks.  Momentum serves a dual purpose: offense with Dragons and allowing a creature of your opponent's to get past your Armagio, possibly saving its life.

Well, Fire and Earth are probably the most deadly with Sanctuary. In my opinion, those two Elements have the best cards for using up large amounts of quanta. Fire can kill almost anything with Fire Bolt, deal a lot of damage with Fahrenheit, and Earth can make a great deck with Stone Skin and Miracle. Sanctuary helps Firestall and SS/Miracle last long enough to use their large amounts of quanta to their full potential. For Fire, it would be killing Dragons and other medium/high-HP creatures with Fire Bolt, and for Earth, it would be having enough quanta for the Stone Skin and Miracle combo. Sanctuary also protects their quanta pools from decks like Discord/BH and Devtal. Fire and Earth can both make great stalls with Sanctuary. But don't worry, I have ways of beating those decks...

Even though Light has clear connections to religion, I don't think about it as a religious Element. I prefer to see it as the element with the best healing, great shielding, and decent damage as well. :)

I think unupgraded Guardian Angels could use a buff, but here's something that uses their ability for its advantage. The guardian angels can help keep the Dragons healthy enough to stay out of the range of Lightnings and Fire Bolts.

The Light Dragon has the most HP for a card with 10 attack, which is perfect for Liquid Shadow. It's also a strong choice because it's in the same Element as Solar Shield, which really helps fuel the cost for it. The Steals, Vampire Stiletto, and Nightmare are good support cards.

I like that deck concept, RR - one interesting side effect is that you can let the dragons sink down to 5 HP in order to become immune to Gravity Shield, one of Light's banes.
