Title: Phase 2 - Proving of Worthiness
Post by: Scaredgirl on April 27, 2010, 07:45:17 pm
Use this thread to reporting completed Phase 2 tasks. After you have successfully finished a task and reported it here, you will get the points added to your total score.

Remember to finish and report both parts of Phase 2.

Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

For the unique decks challengers are creating, are we looking to create un-upped, unrestricted decks or does it not matter?  I just want to know the limitations before I start designing a deck.

EDIT: What about shards and nymphs?  Is there a limitation?

no restrictions, no limitations, what you like.

i wrote a pm to sg when she started topics, and that was the answer :)

Rule of thumb is:

If the rules don't mention a specific restriction, that restriction does not exist.

I'm not sure what you mean.

acelink posted his two decks that are part of this particular phase for challengers. Phases 3 and 4 are about fighting, not about posting deck ideas.

Btw acelink you should start new threads about those decks and only post links here.

I realized that after reviewing your original post about the phases.  I'll get around to creating some threads here soon.

AZURE DRAGON

I really don't know where to start with this... beast. I suppose one of its strongest assets is its ability to survive five Unstable Gas explosions, which is all you need to kill an opponent that has no healing cards. Not to mention the damage Azure Dragon deals while you're building up the Unstable Gases. Think about it, you have... say 2 Azure Dragons on the field. Your opponent has a shield that has a reflective attribute. No worries! You have 2 Azure Dragons on your field that will deal damage anyway! But wait, your opponent uses a shield that makes your Azure Dragons useless! No worries! You have those Unstable gases you can explode in your opponent's face!!!

Need i say more?... Yes? OK.

Your opponent is dishing out some damage, and you have hardly made a scratch with your Azure Dragons, what do you do? Well, you have a few Rage potions in your hand, plenty of fire quanta, and a few Azure Dragons on your field. Azure dragon can risk using a Rage Potion, now you have some seriously beefy Azure Dragons to turn the tide on your opponent, AND they can slip under any of your opponent's Gravity Shields!

Still not enough? Fine.

Let's go with this scenario. Your opponent has you on the ropes, you have a few Azure Dragons on your field, but they are getting stopped by a Gravity Shield, and you have a few Liquid Shadows in your hand. Use the Liquid Shadows on your Azure Dragons and wait for the mayhem to ensue on your opponent.
