Oh boy. That one lived up to the hype. Good games.

Thought I'd lost this when I lost the toss - our decks were the same size - but Jenk had no healing and I had enough CC to kill his Queens, so his shield didn't work either. Death by OE.
G2 (Win, but illegal deck, so Loss) Steals vs Hope/Queens

1 pend, 1 pillar draw for both of us. Slow starts all around. I remember not seeing any particularly worrying permanents in G1 vs Queens, and think that even if he does I'll draw another steal before too long, so steal his tower to play my Dragons faster. Fog comes down next turn, I don't have a steal for it for the whole match, so it blocks a ton of damage. My dragons still do a good job of beating Jenk down, though, and there's a couple of turns where I'm only a steal draw away from the win. On his final turn Jenk plays Hope over the fog shield, and with Blitz I have exact damage to win. Topdecked the 2nd steal (finally) that turn anyway. Only 6 Darkness cards, though, so the deck is illegal.

Pretty poor starting hand for me, with no Fog or Flying Weapon, only one Titan, and a few Catapults. Early fog is particularly important in these kinds of match ups. 4 turns later and I still have no Air cards, Jenk has a few creatures out, and things look bleak. I then topdeck Fog, Flying Weapon, Flying Weapon, and win in 7 turns. I probably had a spare turn here, depending on Fog luck.

Matched up against the only deck I really, really didn't want to see. Jenk draws few Steals, I draw 1 SoV in my first 13 cards, and only 2 in the top 17 cards. I had the CC for all his creatures, but Dagger kept chipping away at me. Ended up losing by a couple of turns.

Looking back, playing Fogs instead of Dims here wasn't too smart. Forgot my Marks, too
Never ended up drawing Fog here, which actually made this game quite close - it forced my to play my Storms earlier than I'd have liked. I had a decent start, 1 pillar, 2 air pends, topdecked another pillar soon after. Before two long two Sky Dragons are eating away at Jenk's health. Dial chain starts up once I have enough damage to kill him. OE pops out for Jenk and starts chipping away at my health. Used my Storm once Jenk had 8 flies out and after 3 Sundials were down. 2 more Sundials (5 total) in the top half of the deck for Jenk wasn't enough time to build up his Hope again, and I won with Blitz the turn the dial chain ended.
