Seriously intense games there Spike. GG. I only get 2 points anyway! >.<

I specifically remembered three things from this match. The first was that I remember I had used Cloak in the beginning of the match to thwart ANY attempt at single-target spells or abilities, as Reverse Time was a near-death sentence to my poor quanta generation. Second, I stole his Diamond Shield, which made all of his Graboids useless until they evolved. And finally third, I used a Nightmare Voodoo Doll combination on him to gain some health back, since he did put a dent in my health somewhat. 1-0

Even though I knew he was going to use Dimensional Shields, my poison cards never came. Sundials could only hold up so long against his Phase Dragons, and I had no idea how fast his deck was with his upped pendulums. 1-1

I was lucky that he only drew heals instead of his creatures and shards. That would have ended pretty bad on my side.
2-1

Neurotoxin is a frustrating stress-pressure test to utilize effectively; I know that
Cheesy111 has
something to say about this (or not?). Either way, I thought that I could somehow counter his Momentum Dunes with Sanctuary healing and smart usage of Sundial, but... I didn't. I started drawing and playing cards unnecessarily, I didn't have the required light quanta to really boost my initial scorpion to deal more physical damage, and the simplicity/efficiency of his deck only outlined how contrived a Blessed Dune deck can be with limited upgrades and no Miracle. 2-2

This deck I made up
on the spot after several minutes after analyzing back and forth between this and a
TERRIBLE Entropy-based heavy PC + heavier CC + healing stall. I chose this one because I figured that Entropy didn't favor me against Afdarenty (and especially without Discord, as it was banned during our matches). Then I realized he had Unstable Gases coming. ^^ 3-2
I'm kinda sad that Spike surrendered so quickly after I played that shield, since I believed he could have won if he had some sort of alternative Air offensive or whatnot, but looking at his deck, now I know why.
Great games again Spike!
