shhhhhhhh.... [whisper]dont let them know... we want to face less of them in the actual fight...[/whisper] :P
Meh don't tempt me to withdraw from the trial of  :aether and come challenge you  ::)
But to be honest, if I were a master, I would very likely not delegate the mantle of war General.

i see that death and gravity still has no challengers, and along with the element that i currently signed up (dark), these are my three favorite elements.

i might change to gravity or death... but whatever.

is it possible to switch my decision even though i already signed up for an element?
Ex-Master of :gravity, still a fervid supporter! GO GRAVY!

Definitely you can switch. I did that in the first trials. I would love it if you signed up for the Trial of :death . I welcome the challenge you would bring and i know you are quite an active member. I honestly would prefer to have 4 people of caliber sign up to try to take the title of Master away from me.

And to give you more motivation to challenge :death , out of those three elements who is still fighting in War?  :D

i only want someone who will be a better master than me to sign up for my trials. i personally dont think the rank of master should be given just because your good at the game. after all, the masters have moderator rights. even though they are only minor moderator rights, they can still be abused to devastating effects. thats one of the smaller reasons i was advertising the job as master a devastatingly hard task. so i get people who only want to be master for the responsibility, and not just the title.

Point is though it's NOT a "devastatingly" hard task. I understand your reasoning but but lets not get carried away here. Admittedly War was/is a task in itself but beyond that, like Scaredgirl said, we really haven't done much at all.  And even if a "good" Master gets replaced by a "bad" Master it's only for 2-3 months.

I'm personally excited for the trials... Now if only people would sign up to challenge :death .

Yes, you can switch once.

*sigh*.

There are no "devastating effects". Even if some Master decided to "kill the forums", there's not much he could do, apart from moving a couple of topics in the "Cards" section. Then I would just use the moderation log and revert everything back to way it was in a couple of minutes. There is no "abuse" or "devastating effects".

I have no idea why you are trying to make being a Master sound like a huge task and a huge responsibility. It's starting to annoy me because it's 100% false and 100% against what I'm trying to say here. Compared to other forum jobs, it's ridiculously easy.

My only theory is that you try to scare people into not joining the Trials so that you could keep the title. Stop doing that.

im not really trying to scare people out of it, i just always thought of it that way. my undertanding of what a master is is a moderator for their section to help you out and take a llittle weight off your shoulders. i always thought the title of master was a serious one and shouldnt be taken lightly. if im wrong in thinking that, then i guess im not the man for the job.
