I feel like there should be a rule about posting decks immediately instead of waiting til the end of the phase. While I am utilizing the same strategy as most, I am willing to bet there will be several decks not posted at the end of the phase. (Examples from last trials: nilsie1, nilsie2 (sorry nils, I only use you as an example because we have our match ))

In the grand scheme of things, I don't think it makes a big difference either way. I just find it annoying is all.

I'd say that posting decks should be mandatory for the Master's Tourney considering that if an illegal deck is used that somehow affects the outcome of the match, then there's no way for you to go back in time and allow the person who should have progressed to play the matches as normal.

With challengers it's not the same issue since everything is dealt with using points instead of a tourney system, but I will say that Trials feels incredibly boring when all you see are the results accompanied by a "will post decks later" that doesn't always happen.

Make both players PM their decks to trials overseer and he posts those when phase is over or something?

That works for Challenger battles this time around, but I dare say that in this case one would be able to argue that it gives the Overseer an advantage over the other masters by doing so.

In the future have the trial overseer not participate? That, or PM the decks to a neutral active forumgoer who isn't participating in trials.

I completely agree that posting decks immediately should be mandatory...but right now, I'm not putting myself at a disadvantage by doing so.

A place to share decks where future opponents can't see would be nice and seems to be pretty impractical

Or someone not in Trials, if the Overseer is participating.  Good idea here.  Especially if the rules are on the complex side and there's a chance a challenger accidentally used a card more than was allowed, for instance.

I say we should post our decks right after our games, nice and simple. I have set the good example, now it is time for the masses to follow!
