For Phase 1, did we get rid of the Trial organizer's 'Favorite' points?  There was a good deal of passion on both sides of that option, I am just curious why it is out.  Due to too much work for the organizers, or, due to dislike?

As with others, I am curious the PvP rules for both the round robin and the opposing element games.  I enjoy the 6-6 rules for the round robin we've had for two trials now (6 upped, 6 out of element), but it does reduce deck choices.  As those have stated before, some opposing elements have tilted battles. I am interested to see what you have in mind for those deck building sets.

I have never been a fan of the community vote, but that is mostly because I am not loved.  :)  You are only able to gain a 4 point lead against another fully complete round 1 opponent.  With four opponents and a master, that is a huge lead, but if you are in a low pool trials, it becomes more of a factor.  (more my two cents here, instead of anything else)

I truly enjoyed the deck building options for the masters battle in trials #4.  I would change it slightly to one of the suggestions given, like only able to use off-element cards once, not full elements.  That would allow more duo-trios, odd decks without murdering the spirit of the deck building limitation.

My opinion, the in-element ban was the strongest pick in the last master's battle. This choice can kill a good deal of your opponent's options, much more than any of the other bans.  Following my first suggestion, I would love to see a change to something like, 7 bans, any cards, bans from your elements cost 4 bans.  That way the power of an in-element ban is countered to an option just as interesting and curious.

This would be an interesting change, I am not sure if it for the better or for the worse

I did quite some time ago, actually.
I just don't think being able to get a deck to work around certain shards tells us anything about the skill of said participants. And if you can even add them on top of your off-element cards for being other... <_<

I don't know whether fighting the opposing element or not is new, but I don't really think it is a good idea, unless you implement some bans (think Light vs Darkness, Time vs Aether).

Indeed, many opposites are currently not balanced with the game still young, and card pool still rather small.  Time and Aether would probably be the worst-case scenario, Dimensional Shield against no in-element permanent control, and innate immunity to Eternity with, in my opinion, it's strongest two creatures.

opposites aren't made to fight each other, so there will be elements with advantages so i agree.

True. In this first matchup, light has no chance to win at all.
