5th Trials - Announcements

If you'd like immediate feedback from me on your Task I cards, please host them on imageplay rather than imgur, imageshack, or anywhere else.  If you host somewhere else you'll still receive full credit.  It will just take a bit longer because I'm not able to view those sites at work.

The Masters of Earth and Light have elected not to participate in Trials.  The top two challengers of each Trials will battle each other for the Master title.

Registration has opened.  Go to one of the Trial subforums here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,184.0.html) and challenge a Master now!

Rules for Phase 2 (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,36174.0.html) have been posted, though challenger battles will not begin for a week.

The Master of Entropy has elected not to participate in Trials.  The top two challengers will battle each other for the Master title.

The Master of Air has not been active for some time.  If DrunkDestroyer does not express an interest in participating in Trials by the end of Phase 2 he will not participate in Phase 3 and the Final Battle.

There are still a good number of Challenger Battles to get done over the weekend.

Please keep copies of scheduling PMs and chat transcripts.  If I have nothing to go by I will be unable to determine which player was more active in trying to schedule and I'll be forced to give you both losses.  Awarding wins for incomplete matches isn't really fair to the Trialers who did get them done, so I'm more likely to just make everyone lose than I have been in the past.

Standings  (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,35936.0.html)for the Challenger's Tournament are finalized except for tie breaker matches for  and  challengers only.  Those matches will be done shortly.

Phase 3, Community Vote, will begin in a couple hours!

Standings for the all Trials participants are finalized through Phase 2 except for challenger tie breaker matches, which will be done towards the end of this week.

Phase 3 has begun, which means it's time to vote for your favorite Master candidate!  Every community member has one vote.

To vote, simply go to the Trials forum (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,184.0.html) and find the Phase 3 thread in the element subforums (e.g. Trial of Aether).  Try to pick someone who you think would help the community the most.  Feel free to ask the candidates difficult questions to help you make your decision.

When Phase 3 has concluded the Final Battles begin!

Please note the following clarification to the Phase 4 thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,36856.0.html):

- At least half of the cards in your deck have to be in-element.  Rest of cards can be from any element or 'other'.  This means a 31-card deck must have 16 or more in-element cards.  A 31-card deck with 15 in-element cards is illegal.

As Trials draw to a close I'd like each player who participated in a Final Battle (challenger and Master, regardless of who won) to PM the favorite deck you used to me.  They'll be added to a poll and the community will choose its favorite Trials Final Battle deck.  All PMd decks will be preserved in the Trials Deck Archive (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,462.0.html).
