Honestly, I just can't take the bans seriously with the new Off Element rule in place. Anything I don't ban can only be used once anyway, so aside from the 1 Fire card I decide to ban, I have trouble deciding what to even do.

totaly agreed, this rules don't make sense....
why change rules wich were totaly fine!

In-element ban => happy Beef.
Limit to in-element ban => happier Beef.
Limit to usage of off-elements => happ..... wait what?!
I won't complain until after the final battles though, adds an interesting touch to it. Bans are still useful since you could turn a blind eye to an entire strategy in all of your decks without getting losses from it by banning all PC for example.

I find these new rules... interesting. I think a lot more strategizing is in hand here as the matches go on and decks get eliminated. I figured that i would only have to make 11 off element decks max but now that i think about it if it gets to game 8 or 9 you can really narrow down the range of decks the opponent can wield and perhaps tailor the deck for more of a counter. This definitely is the most drastic rule change that the trials has gone through but i'm up for the challenge and really have no issues with this. Me and xnoize have to bide by the same limitations so now i just need to make sure i am prepped as well as i can be.

How about not allowing using the same element twice in a row, or even thrice in a row. Less limiting, but can still be annoying.

These rules do seem a little strange, think I'll reserve judgement until afterwards. Good luck to all the finalists and masters in your battles

Crazy new rules are a good thing because a Master must be able to adapt to new situations. Besides, the rules are the same for everyone so I don't see a problem. Even if we one day found the "perfect" set of rules, it might still be a good idea to keep changing them so that the Trials stay interesting and challengers cannot just copy what others did in the past.
