Prizes

1st	7,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon)
2nd	5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark
3rd	4,000 electrum
4th	3,000 electrum
5th	2,000 electrum
6th	1,000 electrum

Players who lose their quarterfinal (Top 8) matches will compete for the 5th and 6th place prizes in a mini-tournament. Prize-eligible players (namely, ones in the top 8) who leave the tournament without notifying the Tournament Organizer of their intent are considered to have forfeited their match, and also their prize.

Special Rules

• Upgraded cards are allowed, but not required.
• Shards are banned.
• Only creatures with an activation skill which uses different element from itself are allowed.
• If you decide to include a creature in a deck, your deck mark must not match either of the elements of that creature.
• Bans:
  • All Pendulums.
  • Pump damage (Arsenic, Fahrenheit, Ice Bolt, Fire Bolt, Poison, Drain Life, Unstable Gas) and their upgraded variants.
  • Quanta splashes (Quantum Pillar, Nova, Immolation) and their upgraded variants.
  • Quanta disruption (Discord, Black Hole, Earthquake, Trident) and their upgraded variants.
  • Nymph Tears, Lobotomizer, Flying Weapon, and their upgraded variants.

Is an exception, primarily due to the fact that its ability costs a different quanta than its playing cost, so yeah.

The wording of that statement confused me until I read further.  The following may be a little more clear, especially to non-native speakers of English:

If you decide to include a creature in a deck, your deck mark must not match either of the elements of that creature.

Hmm.. so if you use for example steam machine and mind flayer in your deck, you can't use water, fire or aether as your deck mark?

I think this one is going to be very interesting.  The time royally sucks for me, but if I get up early enough (or don't go to bed the night before!) I'll be there.  I think it will be a lot more enjoyable than last week's tourney.  (I didn't like the meta that it produced, even if it was partially my own tourney idea :p)  Two strategies immediately stick out to me from this list, but I think there will probably be quite a few viable decks this time around.
