Prizes

1st	7,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon)
2nd	5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark
3rd	4,000 electrum
4th	3,000 electrum
5th	2,000 electrum
6th	1,000 electrum

Players who lose their quarterfinal (Top 8) matches will compete for the 5th and 6th place prizes in a mini-tournament. Prize-eligible players (namely, ones in the top 8) who leave the tournament without notifying the Tournament Organizer of their intent are considered to have forfeited their match, and also their prize.

NOTE: Players with fewer than 10 forum posts are not allowed to enter tournaments. Spamming low-quality posts to reach the minimum post count needed to participate will not be tolerated.

Special Rules

• Upgraded cards are banned.
• All non-pillars and pendulums whose names contain two or more words are banned. (ex. Obsidian Dragon)
• All decks must contain two or more elements, with no more than two-thirds of the cards in a deck being from one element.

FAQ:

Q: Can haz ban list?
A: Lolno. If the non-pillar/pendulum doesn't have a sizable gap between two letters (or have two capital letters in its name) it is legal.

Q: Really? No specially-banned cards?
A: Nope, though if one is brought to our attention at least 24 hours before the tournament, we will discuss banning it.
Edit: Jk, nova is banned now.

Q: Ooh, shards are allowed? There's no rule about them this time.
A: Nope, sorry, shards are banned. All shards are three words, which is more than two, so they are indeed banned.

Dragonfly, Sanctuary and Fahrenheit are only one word

Drain Life, Fog Shield, Schrödinger's Cat, Purple Nymph, Shard of Serendipity, Crimson Dragon, Bone Dragon, Skull Shield, Soul Catcher, Phase Salvager and Dune Scorpion are all more than one word.

I've replied to many topics before, and we both know I have replied to even some of your comments. I think we all know I can read. You're using an incapability condescendingly. What if someone really couldn't read and someone read that comment of yours for them? They would probably be greatly offended by your comment. It was out of line to say something like that. No human is perfect, therefore we all make mistakes. I'm no exception. I can accidentally click on something, and I can skim over some cards. Because I find your comment really out of line, and because I quoted it, I will be going to the extent to get both comments removed. If you would remove your comment, I will remove mine.

Basically, we didn't provide our own banlist because we assume everyone intending to play in this tournament knows the difference between one word and two, simply because if someone is fortunate enough to have a computer, they almost certainly know at least basic word comprehension. That being said, even very intelligent and well-red people sometimes miss things, and therefore a banlist is appreciated - this is indeed seemingly contrary to a comment I made in chat earlier, which I did not portray well. Apologies for that, and hopefully this post provides clarification.

I'd like to end this particular branch of discussion here - deletion is not necessary, in my opinion, but if I'm overruled by someone I'm not against that either.

Yes, mark cards fall under the guise of pillars in all tournaments unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Huh, I personally like allowed cards better. I wish it would be like that for all tournaments, but it would be much more work then banned lists usually. Can you put it into a spoiler though?
