Where? Please enter the Tournament room at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Click "Rooms" in the top left to find it.

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before signing up.

Prizes 1st 7,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon) 2nd 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark 3rd 4,000 electrum 4th 3,000 electrum 5th 2,000 electrum 6th 1,000 electrum

Players who lose their quarterfinal (Top 8) matches will compete for the 5th and 6th place prizes in a mini-tournament. Prize-eligible players (namely, ones in the top 8) who leave the tournament without notifying the Tournament Organizer of their intent are considered to have forfeited their match, and also their prize.

NOTE: Players with fewer than 10 forum posts are not allowed to enter tournaments. Spamming low-quality posts to reach the minimum post count needed to participate will not be tolerated.

Special Rules

• Players have to choose a side 10 minutes before tournament starts: Duality or Quartz.
• Duality must pick 2 elements to use from the start and they can use any upgraded cards.
• Quartz must pick 4 elements to use from the start, but they can only use unupgraded cards.
• Players can only build decks from their picked elements.
• Shards, Earthquake|Quicksand, Trident|Poseidon and Other cards are banned. Discord is only banned for Duality.

Tournament Organizer Note

If you think that there is an overpowered card that should be banned, don't say it publicly in the comments. Instead, send them to Submachine and Dm1321, who will privately discuss whether the card is really OP or not. Any comments about possible card combos will be deleted on sight.

Quartz people are not forced to build quartets, just like Duality people are not forced to build duos. Example:

If Quartz Player A chose and , and Duality Player B chose and , then Quartzy Player A can build an duo, just like Duality Player B can build a mono .

Nice idea!  I really like the ones like this that allow upgraded cards, but give the players who don't have as many upgrades a chance to still compete effectively.

Still, I think Duality is OP. I suggest forcing Duality to only opposite elemental duos and banning some cards like Discord etc. Imho, the allowed duos should be , , , , , .

Duality: 2 elements 100% of deck can be upgraded
Trio     :3 elements 50% of the deck can be upgraded
Quartz : 4 elements 25% of the deck can be upgraded

I actually agree with your point. But i humble suspect that the duo upgraded decks would be way better. I may be wrong, cause a creative and more experienced player could make miracles with 4 elements in his hand rather than 2 elements. The only problem that i see is that it would be difficult to check if the decks are following the rules.
Maybe a slightly change so like:

Duo : 2 elements fully upgraded
Quartz : 4 elements only pillars/pend upgraded or even 1card(no matter the copies) can be upgraded.

Maybe it's a bit more balanced. I am also a bit unexperienced so feel free negleting my suggestions.

Problem is that a fully upped deck is extremely faster than any unupped counterpart. If the 4-element players do not guess a very good counter versus their 2-element opponent, they are really screwed. In the end, the 'noobs without any upgrades' will be punched the hardest and that may even discourage any future participation to tournaments.

Might I suggest only unupped pillar/pends so that the velocity difference isnt that big?

On the other hand its an upgraded tourney. Oh well.

There is a reason for upped tourney and why its only 1of4... so why arguing for those rules, you have very many ways to meta duos with 4 elements. Upped or unupped. In case of other upped tourneys you can but have not to play upped cards... thats more unfair for players with less upped cards than this rule!

I agree with Spielkind here. Especially for the last part.
This is an upgraded tourney and more rule comfortable for player without many ups.


Also, I don't think banning cards is necerssary here.
