I like it. It's better than it was, but isn't broken like the very old sundial.

weirdest buff I've ever seen, needed, but weird, cause it used to be one of the cards in the game where NOT nerfing it would have been incredibly stupid.

*Flashbacks to old sundials*

That being said, I like it. I'm not sure if it feels completely necessary, but it gives sundials a little bit more flexibility when they're upgraded.

I dont think upgraded sundial ever got noticed. It was hardly ever used. there were a few decks, but I hardly noticed any. The automulligan taking it just sorta crippled the card. No one wants it in their opening hand INSTEAD of a pillar. And the 2  :light was a big drawback. This got rid of 1 of the problems, but I think the major one was that it could be taken by the automulligan.

Oh, great. I felt like a bit of a retard with 6 upped sundials that were worse, rather than better than regulars. An upped version shouldn't ever be worse. Only a new variation can be defended. (Take the toadfish, which is totally different.)

In fact, upped Sundial wasnt worse than unupped. It was a variation that could be used by decks that didnt have time quanta. But now its really better. Looks like I will need 9k to up my Sundials :P

Thats my point, unupped is better, as you don't get to draw a sundial on your first 7 card hand.
The only benefit now is that MOST decks that have :light quanta generating can play it to search for their decks for specifics.
MAYBE, they should make it cost 1 :rainbow to play. That would prevent it from appearing into the 1st hand.

I wish you could all act like 0 cost is a bad thing. Before, people lived without mulligan perfectly. They, you know, added Towers to their decks. You should try the same before complaining that a certain 0-cost card screwed your draws 5 times in a row.

Except now people plan their decks with the automulligan in mind. 5 tower builds werent as possible as they are now.  the whole point of automulligan is to draw a tower on the first hand and not some other card, and a card being 0 cost messes that up.
