General Weapon Counters

Indirect PC
Voodoo + Blood
Voodoo + Freeze/Congeal
Ice Lance
Ice Lance + Shockwave
Creature + Mutation to get PC ability

Then you got cards that get around Draw problems
SoBr
Dial
HourGlass
Precog
Time Nymph

A combo to get a Time Nymph
Time Tower or Quantum Tower + Nymph Tears

You have cards that are immune to it's ability or grant immunity
Immortals
Phase Dragons
Quintessence
SoFr

Then, you have denial to the quanta to fuel Eternities.
Pests
Blackhole
Quicksand
Gravity Nymph

So unless you are running a mono life rush, Eternities aren't that big of a deal.

Also, if they get an eternity, don't play the same creature every turn if you want to draw more cards.

And there are creatures like mummies and skeletons that have special behaviour when targeted with Rewind/Eternity, which generally means they need to be rewound twice before they end back in your deck (though there's a chance you won't be able to play the resulting creature).

Nevertheless, this partially protects you from card denial.

Remember though, that if your opponent is using 3 :time every round to prevent you from drawing new cards, he is also hurting his own offensive ability. In case he has exactly 3 time factories, he won't be able to play any new time cards himself, since he's spending all his quanta on Eternity's ability.

Therefore if you already have more creatures on the board than the player using Eternity when he starts his denial, you still have a chance to overpower him with the cards you already have on the board. Your opponent actually needs much more than 3 time factories to gain an advantage while using this card.

This has an ability (if you play for it) that can ruin almost any deck. Every turn, your opponent's mana and card will essentially be reset, making them deal little damage while you build up. It is counter able, but very strong.

Indeed Eternity is a strong card, but there are several ways to counter its power: untargetable creatures, improved draw, multiple creatures on the field, cloak, quanta lock, PC.

Eternity is balanced as it is. It just needs a better...artwork.

Serious answer: Anubis doesn't hold an eternity, it should be a Sekhem, an evolution of the Aba (Ab) scepter, a war club symbol of power and command.

Graver answer: Anubis should change several things...
