youre using too much quanta and you need to change your mark to gravity so your scarabs can eat

Eh, no one has that many golden nymphs. And what's the point of the scarabs? They can't eat anything without gravity quanta.

I'd replace scarabs with towers. Having more towers will speed up your ability to play pharaohs and nymphs, and thus speed up your damage potential. Also golden nymphs are quite useful in case of a bad starting hand (no pharaohs) so you should be able to survive at least some of bad starts.

If you really, I mean really really do not want a gravity mark, then I guess you are trying to make it a simple rush deck... so it does need moar time pillars or else you will be easily outrushed.

Anyway, by choosing a :time mark you leave this deck with no control whatsoever, no defenses, no healing. Any damage blocking shield will leave only nymphs doing any harm, gravity shield will block you completely. Adding :gravity mark will at least give you some (great) way to reduce damage you take so I don't really see much advantage in keeping :time mark.

Anyway I like your attempt at a "Revenge of the scarabs!" because I like scarabs (they are soooo awesome!)... but their revenge is not very vengeful without :gravity, being able to eat your opponents alive, that's what vengeance is about!

EDIT:
After some testing in the trainer on AI3 this is a variant that seems the most effective:
Code: [Select]
5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rs 5rs 5rs 5rs 5s4 5s4 5s4Strategy:
1. Produce scarabs whenever you can.
2. Play pharaohs whenever you can.
3. If you have any quanta left, play nymphs.
4. If you still have some quanta left, use nymphs ability.
5. Eat anything you can ;)

Basically, card drawing advantage is useless if you don't have the quanta to use it so it has the smallest priority here. The most important is to fill your field with scarabs so that they can eat even bigger threats.

This variant seems to win against most AI3, except gravity (gravity shield). It can probably survive most other cases, even quantum denial (discord, earthquakes) due to the massive amount of pillars (but they are really needed, the deck is so quanta heavy!)
So far I have never decked out, but adding an eternity might help, at least against decks without permanent destruction. Still it works perfectly without one.

Yep there is no need for that much either as you'll soon deck out so just get rid of them for precogs and maybe add an eternity.

I'm pretty sure 3golden982 tried to design a deck to play in trainer, just for fun :P
I'd be very surprised if he has 6 unupgraded golden nymphs in real game. I would also be very surprised if his intent was to make a deck for effectively grinding AI3 to quickly gain electrum, because when you have 6 golden nymphs (I guess no one does so far :P ) you probably do not need to grind AI3 for electrum :P

Thus I guess his intent is indeed to play a funny and original deck in trainer. And for that purpose there is really no problem with playing 6 golden nymphs, in fact it's the only reasonable way you can play such a deck, so why not? :P

Also, have you tried it miniwally? I tried it and decking out is rarely a problem. Golden nymphs are mostly a source of damage, tougher than dragons and they are useful in case you did not draw a pharaoh early enough. You don't use them every time you can ;)

In fact a golden nymph serves a purpose similar to a mix between an hourglass, a dragon and something tough. The main advantage is that it's the only way :time can have a functional hourglass-thingy, but be permanentless (excluding pillars), so it's no longer vulnerable to steals and deflags. Precogs would not serve well any of these functions so It's really no use replacing those nymphs with precogs (or hourglasses for that matter). It would seriously change the effectiveness of this deck, the playing style and it would be neither interesting to play it in trainer, nor effective to play it in real game.

I forgot about nymphs having an attack, the reason I brought up decking out was because for the golden nymphs to have an advantage over precogs then they'd need to use there ability more than 6 times which would lead to a deck out, but now you reminded me nymphs attack then yeh they're a good addition.

Your right, just made this deck so you could have some fun in the trainer, precogs aren't that great cause you only can have 6 in a deck,so with a golden nymph you can play a precog every time for low  :time cost.

thank you, i been looking for a good and stable Pharaoh Deck and i've tested this variation in the trainer and its brought me to a perfect win/loss. once i get enough pharoahs, I will be playing this. thank you,
