Game 1: Ghostmare vs CP Dunes = WIN

Expected him to start with CP dune, and ghostmare was a good rush against it. No vagger hurt a lot, but managed to eke out a win 1 turn from losing.

Game 2: Drainbolt vs Lycan Duo

My cc kept up with his stream of creatures... at the start. Soon enough I ran out and he managed to get several hitters in. He also stole my vagger for a few turns before I could steal it back, which hurt. Ended up losing by a turn.

Game 3: Drainbolt vs SoV Dials

He had slow SoV, so I managed to hold on for a bit. Got a late steal for his vagger, but no silence for the drain.

Game 4: Drainbolt vs SoV Dials

He had very fast SoV start, though I also had decently fast dragons and vagger. Managed to draw two silences for the dream draw and took the game.

Game 5: Drainbolt vs Ghostmare

Was lucky enough to have the cc for his creatures as he played, though no vagger or drag had me on my toes. Topdecked a dragon on one of my final turns, fractaled and drained his face to ensure the win.

ggs Cal! Sorry team, this couldn't rescue us :(

Got poison early enough on him, but with only 2 dials for me and him rushing me down with 4 ghosts, I couldn't survive, needed 1 more dial to win.

Game 2: Win

Most of my early creatures got killed as soon as they got on the board, but as soon as I got 2 or 3 sticking on the field, I managed to seriously damage him and take the win

Game 3: Started with very little damage and had to draw quite a bit to finally find some more shards. But I eventually got enough damage and with him not playing an aggressive deck, I had all the dials I needed to win out the game.

Game 4: Had pretty much a dream hand, 4 SoVs, nova and an early HG, but at 1 turn away from the win, got silenced 2 turns in a row and got killed.

Game 5: Loss

Pretty much couldn't get a creature to survive against the CC, got no early nymph to start drawing more damage and vagger wasn't enough to ensure a win. I needed him to not have all drain, dragon and fractal as his last 3 cards in hand in order to win.

Ggs!

He got a pretty slow start here, so my poisoned could wear him down, and I could then finish him off with some bolts before his Sow'd dragon could kill me.

We both started pretty low on quanta, and he blocked my arsenic most of the game. My poison was a bit faster than his shards though, and once he got low I finished him with my shockwaves.

RbDO live the legend of the 2-3.

Games 1&2:
Queens

Both games against Firestall.
Game 1 he had a slow quanta start (2 pillars) and an early fahren, and the queens couldn't be stopped.  He cleared my board once with Double bolt + RoF, but couldn't do it a second time.  Win.
Game 2 I don't remember very clearly, but I ended up conceding after he cleared my board and miracled.  There was no way I could've killed him with my remaining cards, especially not with the other miracle in his deck.

Game 3:
Oops I ran an illegal deck

I thought "this would be a good time for an Unstable Gas deck!" while completely forgetting the rule about element combinations.  I lost anyway to a reflective shield (only two turns before a kill), so it doesn't effect the result of the match.

Game 4:
The WorldWideCounterdeck:  Revival

Anybody remember Devil's Gate?  This deck doesn't, I never got to use it.  I created the idea to counter the Firestall I expected out of www3, but got only RTs...Anyways, since I'm facing just Firestall, why not give it a shot, since it never got it's spotlight when it was meant to?
My opening hand was perfect with plenty of quanta, nova and a reflective.  The only thing to kill me then was an early fahren like I saw in game 1, but it was not to come.  Time to sit back, draw the combo, and hope he doesn't get over 4 SoDs, the point where it takes Chaos Power RNG to kill him (not necessary with 6 dragons, but this isn't a deck spotlight).  He did get up to three, but I wouldn't be worried until I saw the 4th.  Luckily, I never did, and the OTK went off without a hitch.  Win

Game 5:  Honestly  I took probably too long to prepare, overthinking the hell out of everything.  He ended up bringing a Light+Entropy using Photons and Mutants, why didn't I think of that?
Oh Well

I speedbuilt because I was starting to feel bad about the time I was taking.  Evidently, I did so poorly.  The deck was short on quanta, and I just kind of died to his 7/8 Chaos Powered Skeleton with DIVE.
*Sigh* Yes, he got a high powered mutant with dive on turn two or three.  That was when I knew I had lost, but just kind of went with it.  The last turn, he got another mutant:  an 11:3 Ice Dragon with Hatch.  That's right, his only two mutants got the two single best abilities possible xD
Spoiler for At this point...:

Good games, dragons!
RdBO, it's time to break the 2-3 curse in Round 2!

1 pillar start, topdecked a second, no pends for a long time, couldn't play light cards.  Died with 2 miracles in hand.

GAME 2: WIN.  Firestall (fire/light) vs firefly queens, redux.  (air/light) (-4 pillar +4 pendulum mod because it was needed)

Good start for me, tim concedes around about 10 cards left in deck, since he no longer had enough damage to win, and was going to deck out.

GAME 3: WIN.  A TOTALLY DIFFERENT DECK FROM THE FIRST TWO HOLY COW.
Firestall with +1 nova (fire/light/entropy) vs air/entropy blue nymphs/novas

Tim conceded once I played reflective shield, which I had in my opening hand, but waited for him to make a few gases first.  Because I'm evil.

GAME 4: LOSS.  ITS A TRIO DAMMIT (fire/light/entropy) vs air/light/entropy dragon/blitz/SoFr OTK

He starts off and I'm thinking... UG OTK?  lulz I have reflectives and shards still.  Tim gets reflective turn 1, so I either need mine or need fahrenheit.  I never got fahrenheit.  Eventually tim plays a SoFr to avoid discarding, and now, okay, it's some sort of dragon blitz OTK, but I still have SoDs, so that's a thing.  Then he OTKs me at 172hp with 4 shards, 5 sky dragons, and a sky blitz, or something like that.  Had 4 bolts in hand, no fahren, no reflective, and he'd played a couple shards, too.

GAME 5: WIN.  forthelulzwtf a.k.a. myteamhasalreadywonsoidontcare, a.k.a. myentropylightsuperstallwasprobablypredictedsinceialwaysdothatkindofdeck
entropy/light vs air/entropy chaos wyrms

(edit because deck mark was light, not entropy)

Yes, it really happened!  Mostly because turn 2 discord, but it still happened!

Spoiler for Hidden:

To timdood's credit, I expected based on his elements available that I probably wouldn't even have to play a game 4, let alone a game 5, because I thought firestall would beat everything he could do, so I didn't give too much thought to what I'd have to do if firestalls ran out.  I got rather unlucky in game 1 with my opening draw (and my stupidity in not including enough pends), but tim's game 4 deck was just genius, and a well-earned win.
