By far the best deck I had available, and it didn't disappoint, winning a very close game 1 despite him getting out a 1/6 Oty very quickly.

(-1 Nymph, +1 BH) I felt I was at least 75% favored in the 4th game, too, and probably would have won handily had I drawn a BH in the first few turns, or had 3 Entropy pends to start. Since I didn't, he was able to get out a MP and start using immo to generate quanta. This also wouldn't have been too bad if I ever drew more than 1 BH. The rest of the game was pretty much me playing out the 6 Chargers I had drawn, while he got a similar amount of Immos, some MPs, and a Fractal. The game was still extremely close, with him having exact quanta for exact damage, and I could have done the same to him next turn, had I been alive.

My own, slightly derpy Grav/Fire duo. I felt like it had an ok chance vs. most things he could do, however the fact that I drew all 4 pends and only 1 pillar off the bat made it way too slow, especially since I didn't even get any cards in my starting hand.

A very fun deck, surprisingly efficient. Managed to beat his Fractix deck once, though to be fair he didn't draw Fractal until too late.
It also wasn't far from winning the 5th game and the match with it. He had a ton of quanta & a fast start, but I may have been able to clinch it with a momentum to put my Fire Eater out of Lightning range (probably not though).

Looking at the elements I had available there was no obvious rush I could run. I thought that likely meant I wouldn't face a control deck, but I was worried about gravy shield, this deck allows me to bypass gravy shield, but if it doesn't enter play is a viable rush deck in its own right.

I can say I was quite shocked to be facing a Hope Deck, but and early Discord by me was very hard to Legit to overcome. I didn't draw my second nova until 15 cards into the deck, but diving my 12 atk pegasus was enough to overcome any hope Legit might have.

Having discorded him the last round I expected to see a counter to discord this round, and while that could be a Sanc deck, I decided to gamble on countering an immo deck. Unfortunately Legit got a gravy shield down before I collected enough quanta to play a dragon, which meant I had to draw Lobo and have him not deflag it in order for me to win. I drew it early enough but he deflagged it and I immediately conceded.

I had considered swapping the dragons for Immortals immediately before the match, but I hadn't quanta balanced the change and decided it was worth the gamble. Looks like I was wrong.

I love and hate this deck in this match up. It has lots of scary weaknesses. However I got an early discord which blocked his ability to play much early during the game. I drew 2 dragons early but no PU in the first half the deck, once he played overdrive on his angels and miracled it became a race, lucky for me that discord had stalled him long enough for me to draw into a PU and a 3rd dragon to get the win by 1 turn.

I figured this should deal with both gravy shield and Fire Stall, hopefully the bolts would be enough to get me a win against a rush deck. I foolishly played 2 Aboms early, not thinking about the fact that they could be CC'd, luckily for me I quickly drew into a 3rd and fractalled it. Add that to a late-ish Fahrenheit draw for him and my damage was enough to net me a win.
