deuce22 3-0 andretimpa

Game 1 WIN
more or less a mirror match. Forget who won toss, but andre fractaled guards instead of my charger on the field. Played dims as i drew another charger. Whittled him down a bit, then he played chimera. I won next turn fractaling chargers.

Game 2 WIN
He played an oty/gravy shield/plague control deck. I got 3 early guards, then he got oty, shield, arse, and plague out early as well. He ate my guards, so I dimmed until i could spam chargers. He didnt have momentum, so he could only eat 1 of my 5 chargers. Won next turn.

Game 3 WIN
He played fracharger. He won toss. I only drew 3 quanta initially, then not any more til much later. Luckily I had plenty of chickens in hand. He played titan, then a charger. I was barely winning damage race and eventually fractaled, then he played a 2nd charger. He didn't draw any dims, but it wouldnt have mattered much since i had 2 deflags in hand.

This match was one big mindgate fail, coupled with some oversights during deckbuilding.

Was expecting guardtal + chimera. Surprise chargers sucked but I had a chance, until a dim delayed me for one turn.

Was expecting fractix, got the same deck. Locked the guards with the shield, but I could only increase the health of 1 oty (drew an unupped oty too late) and deuce kept my arse in check with dims, so when he had enough quanta to burst damage with chargers and win it was gg.

Drawing all the chargers and fractals and none of the dims sucked, but I managed to keep up with the damage until deuce got to the fractal. Was expecting a "trio", got fractix.

Early sancts for hainkarga. We disconnected and both beat AI. Second match I got 4 lycans and 2 dragons out and overpowered his healing. 1-0

Fast hope, fast Psiontal and no Lobo drawn for me. No chance. 1-1

This game took forever. We kept disconnecting and neither AI was clever enough to play it out properly so both won. My only hope was to PU a RoL, CP it and keep PUing it. Then hope that discord would troll if he tried a psiontal. On the third time of trying my two CPs were both only +1 attack. I beat the AI thanks to desync errors but conceded to Hainkarga as I'd have had no chance otherwise. 1-2

Spoiler for Desync Screenshot:
Proof that you shouldn't quit just because someone plays a mirror shield against your 8 attack Psion.

Spoiler for Game 4 (L):

One pend draw against Discord. Not much chance from there. 1-3

ggs hainkarga despite all the desyncs and congratulations Aether in Aetherium on a well deserved win.

Sorry team for getting us knocked out of this event. I've enjoyed working with you guys and think we can be proud we at least got second place. Go Tiger-Sharks!

As it turns out, my schedule may have changed, but I'll still try to make it, just for the lulz.

Moving on, I'm happy to have gotten this far. This has been my first PvP event type thingy and 2nd makes me all happy inside. At least I can still hold my head high if I beat Higs tomorrow *evil laugh*. I want to thank Reg and Andre for being great team-mates and great PvP-ers and for putting up with me. Hats off to Aether in Aetherium for winning "flawlessly" as it were. A well deserved win I'm sure.

It looks like RNG left you when I had to go to sleep, Reg. GGs Aether, your understanding of the meta and mindgates were clearly better than ours.

Still 2nd place is way more than I was expecting when I entered this, so gratz team on this event that took forever.

This event was as fun as WAR for me. I have worked with both higs and deuce in glorious team :aether before and i always like working with -and against- these great people. Now I don't want to sound immodest (i will tho) but we were pretty sure we would win this event from the start. And thanks to our a decent amount of teamwork and a bit of luck, we stormed our way undefeated! I'm looking forward to next TPVP event already.

Also, great job bringing it to the finals Crazy Undead Ninja Tiger-Sharks. Noted your names to knock your door in case i have any say in forming a WAR team.

You have a very high bar of 'confidence activation'. I adjusted my confidence radar dish for you like a year ago. For instance; when you whine like a scared little kitten, it means you think you will win 90%.
