Mono-deaths combining bone wall and sosac. Sosac chains, then chains bonewalls so I can't heal him.
AI having bad fractal targetting, flooding his field with Rols from a SoSerp rather than pests.

Huge number of crazy and strange wins from my plat 500EM deck too.
It has a mindgate for fun, and for eventual winning against an opposing eternity. Every single opponent with SoSacs drops his hand of 7 once I get a small amount of damage on the board from mindgate (Like 7). Then when it wears out he dies to eternity damage.
Crushed a mono life with his own dragons, thanks to mindgate nabbing a dragon and a mitosis.
Defeating a 1hp deck after 20 turns when I finally drew an eternity. Nearly died that game too.

Using SPLAT came across this 1 HP deck with water mark and crawlers as oracle card. Usually with my version of splat I can EM about 30%.
So turn 1 he plays SoD... 16 HP minor setback,  probably no EM but still easy 200 :electrum. Got my dune out starting chipping dmg, got hit by purify and some more SoDs and I started to feel the embarassment closing in, as the poison got purified  regularly and Sod kept healing (the 1 hp deck became a 130ish HP monster) . As the opponent built dmg I started chaining SoSa and noticed the he was using nymph tears to pump dmg and draw power. A glimpse of hope appeared, can AI derp so bad?More and more time nymphs came in play and the opponents cards started depleting fast. In the end I won by deck-out with 1 card to spare.
PS: decking a 1 hp deck without a deck-outer is probably the most memorable arena match for me :D

Nice.  I've had a few occasions when a 1 hp arena managed to SoD its way out of trouble and beat me.  It's so annoying when that happens. It must have been quite satisfying to out-deck this one.

I was intended to nightmare my dragons but just before I used the nightmare, the AI gave me a better target : GotP

Then I nightmared the ghost, and RT it.

The AI got full hand and was forced to use a card. And he chose to use nightmare....on my devourer!!!

And you can imagine, the AI never got a chance to do anything throughout the whole game.

yet another "AI is a dumb@ss" thread... Still, considering that the AI, is, in fact, a dumb@ass, this thread is justified.  :P

I had a #1 platinum physalia poison/SoSac deck do this.  When it got down to 1hp I threw in 6 SoDs, and it was still winning games; I can only imagine the frustration of watching your opponent be able to play SoSa when it started with 1hp.

I had a pretty good win last night in the arena, against monodeath SoSa, funny enough.  We were having a pretty good damage race and I was in the lead and about to win, when the dreaded SoSa chain came down.  This left the AI with only 24hp but with I think 6 turns of reverse damage up.  Fortunately, I had my 30 attack Steam Machine in the first creature position and a purple nymph, so I just antimattered my steam machine and had it kill the opponent with SoSa active; I would've lost in I think 2 turns otherwise :)

Playing Instosis vs. Plat (sidenote: needed this win for special spin). Was quanta starved the whole game due to pests+poor tower draw. Had to play the combo early due to being out of sundials. Brought him down to 44 HP - thought I would win since his damage output was very low.

Suddenly, SoSac. As I'm raging, I topdeck a sundial, stopping my giant chimera from attacking. He plays some damage - enough to kill my chimera. I'm about to ragequit, when suddenly... he plays a vampire dagger. And kills himself.

Ha, I've just been the first one to beat TheonlyrealBeef's Arena deck after it had won 7 times (I admired its idea, very effective). I don't want to spoil it, so I'll just tell you that: I played a Poison Dial, the AI got out a Vampire Dagger very quickly. How did I counter the 6 healing per turn? I made it steal my Arsenic which doesn't get replaced as it costs 2 :death in contrast to 1 :darkness. :P

EDIT: Forget the last phrase, that couldn't have been, Vampire Dagger costs 2 :darkness. So it seems the AI simply didn't draw another one.

I was having fun with a nymph deck when I suddenly saw a 1 HP-deck.
I had 3 tears and a quint in hand; the rest were 2 water pillars and a QP.

I managed to win with EM.

And I got 80  :electrum. Don't know what place, but it was pretty high, I suppose.

And I saw SoSa. Guess they weren't smart enough to put in SoD like you said. c:
I only haz green.

I like nymphs.

So you beat my ghostmare with nightmare and using AI's stupidity :) nice job!
Still didn't stop it from earning a #1 place though :P (btw I hate ghostmares)

It's full of fun to troll a ghostmare. I just used a discord to deny its quanta so it has to discard the ghosts :P
