do you not realize the unbelievable amount of really crappy deck builders there are out there? if its all self built without any help, then the arena would be so easy i would laugh myself to death from all the profits i would make off of pwning the living crap out of noob decks
As a really, really, really crappy deckbuilder, i'm gonna ask :
What the hell am i gonna do with those 5 grav shields?
Earth/grav duo - PA's, Oty's, black holes, earthquakes, chargers etc?

Oty's eat their small creatures, shield stops the big ones, BH and earthquakes keep em from doing much of anything in the first place, chargers ignore any shields they might be able to play...

to answer to ascabi and unitrandomnumber : YES we should let crappy deck builder try themself to build a good deck.
Otherwise they will stay crappy dedckbuilder till the end of the world.
Copy pasting a deck doesn't give you any skill (everyone is able to use ctrl +c huh ?)
While trying to build a good deck give you experience even if their first try would be bad i think..

For my part I got a lycan yesterday and I'm at 26 - 0 atm ^^ I build an insane 120 cards deck with 12 HG and 12 steals.

Btw when the oracle give you a card the card will be in your arena deck in 5 exemplar EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT IN THE GAME.
for example if you win a time nymph your arena deck will have 5 time nymph even if you have only one.

Gl and hf to all ! long life to arena !

Am I the only one who thinks that players should build their arena decks themselves, without help from others?
do you not realize the unbelievable amount of really crappy deck builders there are out there? if its all self built without any help, then the arena would be so easy i would laugh myself to death from all the profits i would make off of pwning the living crap out of noob decks
umm.... I don't see a problem here...?
Do you feel satisfaction when you cash the gold that the AI made for you, with a deck that is not even made by you? that would ba simple botting imo,

1, if you cannot make a deck at all, then don't post in the arena. That simple.
2, If you feel that you cannot make a good deck, by all means, try it, take it for a ride, submit it and see how it fares. That way you'll improve as a deckbuilder and you can have satisfaction with your own deck.
3, If the power level of the Arena devolves because of the amount of bad decks in it, well... I think the arena is supposed to show the general skills of the EtG players and allow others to have fun, instead of being a superteam of superdecks.

I agree with acsabi :
if you feel you are to bad at deckbuilding to submit a deck you can avoid arena; but IMHO this the most stupid choice to do..
It cost nothing to put a deck on and see chats happen; if it works too bad just think ti improve it and think about what doesn't work.
You will just become better at deckbuilding this way.

I think nobody can be a good deck builder without trying again and again.
I played MtG for 10 years and I've been a not bad deckbuilder but even after 10 years of play I know that I still have big progress to make.

So it is the same in EtG I start to be not bad at deckbuild (seeing that my "original" arena deck is udefeated atm for example).

Oh and an other advice : I fyou think you suxx at deckbuilding just try pvp event with restriction (like budokan or weekly tournament)
For my part I've played budokan and I think I learn a lot of think doing that.

Otherwise I don't think that the arena will become a stack of crappy deck because there are a lot of good deck builder here.

Finally if your decks keep sucking you can go to the deck help section to see what you can do with them.

So far the only good decks I've seen in bronze/silver/gold are made by names seen in chat and on the forum.
So I dont mind it at all. Superdecks or not, I wish they all were at least decent, I've seen really bad decks 10-25 and they don't belong there.
