plastiqe - 3
vs
Svenningen - 2

What can only be described as an epic matchup, I shot out to an early 2 games to none lead.  Cruising comfortably with my poison rolling and my sundials on lockdown, I knew Svenn had already used his steal and a deflag, plus his pillars weren't cooperating and he didn't have enough :fire to play another so I when I drew into a last turn dial I thought I'd sealed it.  Imagine my surpise when he draws a nova to get the quanta to kill my dial and finish me the turn before he would have been out.  While my 3 Bonewalls lurked at the bottom of the deck my lead was swept away as Svenn stormed back to take games 3 and 4.

The final game once more came right down to the wire.  All three of my Bonewalls showed up, except a momentumed Shrieker was shrieking right past them.  I needed a little luck and what I got was a costly error.  Both of us emptied our hands on the 2nd to last turn and Svenn used a Deflag to whittle down my Bonewall.  And it would have paid off if I hadn't drawn into a Sundial to save the day.

Good Games!

blast that sundial!

Essence, I dont feel the rules are that clear.

do we use posted decks in r1, and then change 1card each round, or do we get to change 1card each match?

Me and plastiqe both agreed on free reign after r1 (wich we used posted decks) to use the sideboard as we pleased, because we didnt know the rules clear. But since be both agreed, it shouldnt be a problemo, I lost with a smile on my face, EPIC games. all 5 were really close, one winning just 1 turn ahead of the other..

Between battles you can switch out as many cards as you like. You are only limited to your deck and your sideboard. Also, the size of your deck must remain constant. So if you started with a thirty card deck, when you are finished exchanging cards, the deck must be 30 cards. It must remain 30 cards throughout the whole event.

My first and third games I got a very strong draw and denied him.  The second game we both got very bad draws.  I manged to get set up eventually, but he ran out of phase shields and didn't get any chargers until ten cards left.

Do I still post my deck if my opponent has resigned?
