For anyone interested in Organic Chemistry, this tool is really useful in predicting 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectrums.

Oh it is just another way to "Do X to unknown chemical -> Get back data to deduce what the chemical is". In this case the spin of the nuclei of the chemical create magnetic fields that can be measured(no fusion). 1H NMR samples the data from the Hydrogen in the chemical. Since there are 3 kinds of H in the example(CCOC), there are 3 areas of spikes predicted in the graph. If we looked at COOC instead there would only be 1 areas of spikes.

And uh, yeah, Hyroen actually explained what it does via voice chat; it was pretty cool, and a nice "refresher" *cough* about the various ethers, -anes, etc. ^^; But thanks for explaining it to those who are glancing over this topic.
