1 relic used. The deck countered his stall perfectly. Loss came because of both a misplay + some bad bottomdecking. GGs, and good riddance

Game 1
Desync. I beat the ai of course. When it came down to it I would only have been able to win if I hade topdecked a silence( 1/21 ), which was not very likely. So I let him have this win.

Game 2
Played a silence on his last turn and won.

Game 3
The pro Oa didn't draw cards and used rewound to get the card he didn't need at the bottom, preventing me from using a silence. I wonder how many that would think of that in that situation? gg

Same as above

This was  a real counter. Only way for me to win would be if I drew all 3 sod's and manage to stall 1 turn and then play dial and silence. Unfortunately for me that didn't happen. GG's  PlayerOa

Part 1


Blacksmith has not been idle in the camp, and when the bedraggled warriors return it is to a proper sanctuary. Strong dimensional barriers bar the skies, supported by wards of lightning and the strong walls of a true sanctuary. It is a miracle of mystic might, meticulous scavenging, and architectural mastery. It is the last bastion, and the defenders know that they must hold out until the war ends. It is the last hope.

Weeks pass, and many try their hand at storming the walls of the Last Bastion of Light. The earth tremors and the sky rages, but the defenders hold firm, and when the wizard recovers he shores up the defenses. Blacksmith continues to expand the fortifications. Procedures are set. Resources are gathered. Patrols are marked out. The army of light endures in its fortress, safe from marauding invaders. Whether by battle or by salvage, the remnants of the old capital are gone now, obliterated piece by piece, brick by brick, stone by stone. It is fortunate that the old relics are discovered, and preserved in this new sanctuary. All the remaining strength of light concentrates itself here, laying the foundation for a restoration. Nobody notices the bugs hiding amidst the dust...

The white wizard's miracle has come to pass, but the war is not yet over. The trouble comes suddenly, disrupting the fragile peace that has settled over The Bastion. The emergence of the scarab swarm is both puzzling and alarming. The cloud of insects overwhelms the lightning wards and slams into the dimensional shields, seeking escape into the sky. General Zso Zso steels his resolve, and strengthens the shield. Immediately he feels the erosion, the sanctum's defenses in desperate need of reinforcement. Lieutenant Blacksmith takes command over the troops, knowing that this is only the first attack. He must remain vigilant for the next.
 
The five headed dragon that comes next is a complete surprise, and the Last Bastion of Light is powerless before it. Thus falls the Wielder of the Morning Glory. Thus falls Light.
