We're kinda getting a penalty because we had the wrong mark on the deck at the start of the duel phase.

G1 he brought a darkness mark, "forfeited" that game.

All the normal games went extremely drawn out, especially first and third. I tried everything, i doubt i had ANY chance. My draw was excellent, his draw, especially in first game was pretty terrible.

I don't understand why a team was allowed to correct a mistake in vault after the deadline.  We've had several rounds we were editing it in the final minutes, but we knew well that if it wasn't in the vault in time, we'd have to live with it and it would suck.  That's how War works, the vault is god.  I'm normally not one to complain, but this seems very against the spirit of War.

I can totally see where you're coming from. And I mostly agree with you, even if WM decision is in my favour. That said, we did get a minor infraction penalty, and there was evidently no maliciousness in our mistake. I take all blame for what's happened, because I failed on my double-checking job. If anyone's to blame here, it's not either wms or Spike, but it was me for not giving an autoloss and going against my principles.

Personally, I think it's more against the spirit of war to deny a team a fair chance at a match because of a small mistake that doesn't hurt any other teams. imo letting them change their mark to their correct one and giving a small penalty is the right course of action.

I'll admit, I was annoyed about this at first but at the end of the day, Time sent a deck that countered ours pretty heavily. They made a small vault mistake and will take a penalty for it. It just hurts a little bit more because of the event card. Although, I'm sure because of the nature of the win and team Time's opposition to the event card,  they'll almost certainly choose not to name a card for us to discard .

Yeah last war teams were often making post last minute changes & taking penalties. Rules are rules but there's a reason this event has WMs to make rulings & keep things running smooth
