I had 4 dead cards (sundials, plague) and 3 cards that just didn't matter (spiders).
Game 1 (win): I got a really good rush start with grey nymph and 2 dolls and was able to fill the field with cells and put 14 poison on him. He miracled once, but eventually he succumbed.
Game 2 (loss): A blur of me calculating what cards I needed to draw to have a chance, not drawing them, and subsequently losing handily.
Game 3 (loss): Like game 2, but this game he got a little lower on life a couple times, and had I drawn the 3 drain lifes with more than 10 cards left I could have won. But alas, he was able to miracle and get out another sanctuary and didn't get low enough for the 3 siphons to win.
Game 4 (loss): Got a decent start as he has no CC for the first parasite and I was able to rack up some poison. bonewall stopped Vagger from doing anything. He miracled 2x and then slowly lost HP back down. If I had drawn a second drain life with 10 cards left I could have won. It turned out 2 of the 3 drain lifes were the bottom two cards. That said, I had to gamble at 1 card left, because I KNEW he would miracle or drain life me to heal himself before my last turn. I double siphoned and attacked and put him at 3 (dat dusk be trollin). He miracled. I drew the drain life I knew was the last card. He was at 100 now instead of 3. I lost.
I designed the deck to beat the 40 card version (and have a chance vs fractal) and they brought a 43 card version. So many regrets. Any 3 cards from the vault stuffed in would have won games. Adding 3 drain lifes instead of sundials would have won games. Sigh. Sorry team.
*edited some details from Game 4 report, as I was quite tilted and made some unfounded assumptions about jijo's play*
