game 1, win: I got an easy win after I fractaled my mummies, he said he had a bad hand and he sure was right because even at the end I had no Idea what his deck was about.

Game 2, loss: I was fast to discover he had some novas and eq in his deck that slowed me a ton, he even had a nightmare to slow me even more.

Game 3: I got ton of pends at start and a few after which allow me to absorb his 2 eqs even if they hurted me a lot.  I managed to get a win by a turn in the end.

Game 4:  Tons of pends at start too and he only managed to throw 1 eq at me and he got a somehow slow start that allowed my mummies to kill him when they got fractaled.

Game 1: Horrible hand, so realizing there was nothing I could do to change the result I just held onto 5 novas while watching my complete and utter defeat

Game 2: The only game I drew nightmare, and turned out to be a life saver! Even though I won, it was still pretty close since I had to break through all 4 Bone Walls I think.

Game 3: Had a great start of 3 novas for a first turn EQ (going second), and 2 Minor Phoenixes in starting hand. No creatures til' 10 cards left...

Game 4: Got 1 EQ with some quanta problems and got a slow draw after that

Say what you want about BoneBolt, but evenly matched decks against it are always exciting. So many cards that can make or break everything. Such is the nature of combo decks.. it's no wonder I love them the most, or that I love Aether for having so many of them :>
And Fractal Mummies is a lot more fun to watch than Poison x)

are u trying to say u tried predicting what :fire will use against aether? Seems to me that you have a deck that is autowin against us...here's hoping you overthought the matchup :P
Let's say a star wars movie influenced our deck against :fire
"Return of the bonebolt", which retired and has wait its time on last round. Something :aether likes poking :fire with.

Yeah, I was expecting bonebolt (didnt think u would send fractix 3 straight times), and this was the deck that gave us a very good win percentage. *Mindgate fail*

RNG only trolled the grabbow once. I was referring to the epic pend draws each game by mrpaper.

Aside from the first game, each game came down to the wire. Despite our attempt to counter bonebolt, we probably had about a 50% chance of winning against this version.

Always is.  It's standard for me to reduce match up percentage by 50% when testing decks now.
