Don't know what to say. I didn't know winning can feel so bad in some situations. Jen-i had so crappy RNG, it doesn't even feel
fair to win 3-0. In testings it was always much much closer, sometimes the Warden deck even felt stronger.
game #1 (1-0)(0-0)Game starts out crazy, having only 1 pend, next turn hand full, throwing Silence. But Wings in hand, all right! Give quanta!
Before that happens, dc, because why not... Playing SoPa, Graboids ducking from Wardens. Quanta arrives, 1-0. Or I thought so.
Because Jen beat my stupid AI. From what I experienced in latest 12 Lives we can have the win if it is obvious it was an
AI failure and the other player had no chance to win. Thankfully asdw arrived, I my video convinced him (barely) to give me
the win. I felt both good and filthy. (Btw it was clear I would win regardless of Jen's moves.)
game #1 (2-0)(1-0)Early misplay with Forest Spirit, lost a 1 water quanta, could play SoPa only later. Earth's SoPa went on trolling, not appearing.
No Wings yet, but I had enough damage to release SoPa. Jen's SoPa arrives in turn 12, but way too late.
game #1 (3-0)(2-0)Wings in hand... OK don't be stupid with the Forest Spirit! Got quanta (around turn 2). Jen's SoPa missing. From my side:
SoPa, wait for a while, Wings, game over.
game #1 (3-0)I thought I've won while experiencing one of the worst RNG's ever on my opponent's field. Just said sorry to Jen, when he
told, but hey, game#1 replay since asdw changed his mind. OK. Fingers crossed. Barely any quanta, hand full in turn 2.
Let's throw BE. But 2 Wings in hand! Quanta arrives!!! From this point it is pretty clear. Wait for SoPa, wait for enough damage,
play Wings when necessary (at 7 hp lol), deflag the only properly appearing SoPa from Jen and win.
I still feel sad. It feels bad to ask for a WM ruling (though my complain was fully legal I think, have a video about the game).
But Jen is an experienced veteran and I envy his cool reaction after this catastrophic RNG.
Better luck,
Team Earth !
But hey, 4-0 this round!!!! Go-go-go
Team Entropy !
A big congratulation and thank you to you guys, Aves and Blacksmith!
