This match was just terrible. If I made one slight mistake, I would lose. And believe me, there were many opportunities to slip just once. And that would ruin everything.

It was a new addition for Round 2. They didn't have it in Round 1.

Air got surprised in game 1 by that dragon and let OE go too early, but from then on it was just smooth sailing, as us spectators predicted. Still, RNG could've trolled either team.

Apparently a hard counter but yes, on a closer look it could have gone either way. One OE hit was needed alongside the two shockwaves, and you couldn't let the OE out after turn 30 otherwise you'd deck. So a fast dragon, late OE would have killed you. +1 Shockwave -1 OE would have made this quite easy, and 2 dragons for earth would have made it way more difficult.

EDIT: Actually, two dragons could have made it virtually impossible unless Root packed a FW.

If earth would have upped the dragon, they could have waited until eternity came to play the dragon and win with 1 or 0 cards left.

But if air packed either 3rd shockwave or flying weapon, that point would be moot.

It's 88-96 damages from the dragon before the Immortal decks. Heh. One of the coolest War matches I've seen yet, congratulations Root.
