Now, the games were TOO tight. More than they should've been. I counted this to be a 3-1 pretty easily.
I forgot to account for discord magic fingers.
Game 1: Well, gravy mark. I guess it's really DBH as expected. And I won toss, decent quanta. Well, this is going well-
no. MMC has three upped pends + discord -> generic good topdecking. He didn't get more damage until much later, but damage doesn't really matter much when the all the opponent can do is sit and wait. Possibly even less when you accidentaly discard a GotP out of frustration. It didn't matter much. I got a graboid that managed to deal like 4 damage the whole game.
Game 2: Well, lost toss. This can only be bad. He only has 2 pends, so no early disco shennanigans. I hope. No, because he can always topdeck an upped pend. Luckily, I manage to get a couple grabbies down, evolve them, a quicksand down in between. This means I get to win this. A pretty square 1-1.
Game 3: Hey RR, you've been drawing your quanta consistently, let me help you with a 2 tower draw. I actually drew the 2nd as 8th card after the lost toss. 2 towers wouldn't be that bad, if he didn't draw 5/6 pends and get the 3rd early cord out. Game spiraled out of control real quickly. At one point I had no/at most one grabby damage down, for a grand total of 4 damage, was down to about 40 hps and he had 14/about 14 damage down. Not much to do at this point. 1-2.
Game 4: Early decent draw. I can't remember exactly who won toss. I think I did, because I had a grabby down early. He draws 2 pends. Looks like I can do it still. lolnope pend topdeck. What did I do to deserve this?
And then the real game begins. By the end, I survive with less HP than he would deal next turn, by close to perfect damage. Had he had a BH, it would've been game over. It's fiction, the superhero can't lose. Go for it, RR. Be the superhero you want to see in the world.

Game 5: He apparently didn't draw a discord, I won toss, and I got good quanta down. He gets a sizeable amount of pends, but with no cords, you're just bound to get outrushed by Grabbies. Today I was a superhero. Tonight I'll just be tired.
The people of my town are called cat eaters. I kept faith to the name.
