We tried first with a dummy deck, to see if the connection works. We connected pretty much instantly and had no trouble during the game. Though the rounds took a bit long.
1st: Loss
Saw aether mark and thought it's gonna be a tough one. 3 PC against Dims? Well luckily I'm not majofa. Or did they pick Psions?
Won toss, got 3 pillars out, tree got ... 7...
Well, that's PU Gons or Fractal something... probably squids.
DC happened and we finished against AI, my deck got smashed to pieces, no chance at all against such a sick rush! how am I ever gonna win this?
~only RNG can help me now. pls let me win <3
you again? stop bothering me with your prayerz!2nd: Win
messing you up only makes you come back to me, eh? well then, how'bout this:
u can haz toss
u can haz 5 pillars in hand
opponent can haz 2 pends
and you draw always stuff to counter his stuff.
u happy now?woo I win! thx RNG <3
argh, stop talkn 2 meh!3rd: Win
let's try sumting else:
you get shitty draw. opponent too. what now, huh? I hate yoo all!won toss, got 1 pill, tree got 2 pend.
the game started unrolling slowly, very slowly.
I got some stuff going after a while, but tree just had a much slower start due to his expensive cards.
won nicely.
*phew*
4th: ~DC Win
his toss, 2 pends for him, 2 for me as well.
we dc'd early but played it through.
on my side, I easily beat AI, since AI doesn't know how to save up quanta or how to not play Dims.
tree won as well, since AI likes to steal Pends instead of keeping them saved up for more important stuff like Dims.
Tree left the choice to me whether I would claim this victory and I decided to take it. Thx for the fairplay!
we still played it out to see what would've happened.
5th: Dummy Win
He got 2 pends again, I only got Pillars.
Played early dagger and since I was low on Darkness, tree tried a Dim, which I couldn't steal immediately, so I left it to save up more darkness and deal more damage if he plays another one later.
This tactics worked out pretty well and I was able to crush him; so in the end, it didn't matter after all.
ggs treebeard! thanks for the fairplay and fun match.
