Hearing all of this happen Kilarot swims out of his underwater cave in effort to find out what is making all the noise. Not finding anything right in front of his face he retreats back into his cave.

pyrerate, hearing this laziness, rips kilarot from the ocean and throws him by the arkbearer.
"glad you could join us" said the ark bearer "we're looking for the flask of shadows"
"the ganoid has just told me that there is another dragon here to help" she added

Malefis covered her hiding place and flew into the sky. Her great black wings moved in perfect unison as she moved through the air, her body gliding easily. She found the other dragons with the Arkbearer, and she fought the growl that rose in her throat. She flew over and landed on a nearby rock, wrapping her tail around her legs and folding her wings behind her neatly.

Kilarot lies down observing all that is going on while he thinks to himself, What's so important about the flask of shadows anyway?

Malefis focused her attention on Jopazel, addressing her at a volume with which only the other she-dragon could hear her. "Why are you all here? Pyrerate is lucky that I haven't attacked (him?) for being near my swamp." She shifted her gaze to the pirate dragon, and a low growl rose in her throat. "What is the point of disturbing the peace of my swamp?"

Jopazel looked over at Malefis, and addressed her in the same tone.
"Apparently you have a flask of shadows. I'm not sure what Pyrerate wants with it, but whatever. I'd rather be eating you know." she snorted, feeling her belly grumble with hollowness. She let out a puff of smoke in disapproval.

Malefis snorted in disgust. "What does Pyrerate care if I have the flask? What does (he?) want with it anyways?" She stretched her wings and stood, her gaze turning back to Jopazel, though she was sure it wasn't the friendliest of looks that she gave.

Jopazel glared back ruthlessly. "I don't know, nor do I care." She flopped.
