Hedgehogs in Space

I thought about putting this in philosophy, but figured you guys would make it a religion/atheism discussion anyways, so might as well post it here.

Here's the game: Hedgehog Launch.

Why doesn't the hedgehog fly into space on the first launch?

(I'll have some follow up questions after a few responses.. I just wanted to see what you guys thought.)

And normal people could fling themselves to mars on their first try with their superior...ness.
