Well, I just WON to a FG with 1hp left. And 40 or so poison :P
But I still agree that this kind of things happen way to often. This is biaised perception: we only remember the 1hp losses, not the 1hp victories, this way we can whine  ::)

I usually take a quick break after something like this happens to deal with the traumatic effects...

But I swear I've never won with 1 hp. I have with 3 hp to a lvl 5 but that's the best.
