What about this variant?

Steam machine is unupped because of 1 quanta less cost.
There are 4 supernovas because you just need a starting rush.
Leaf Dragon is a good card here, because it produces the quanta you need for playing the bonds when you played your hope. (and you can activate your FFQs)
I tried it out with an unupped Steam Machine, but I really missed the upgraded version.  It may cost an extra :water, but that 15 HP will draw out early Bolts and other CC from various FG's.

Shards are pretty much needed, especially in the early game.  Steal is unnecessary, as you should just be crushing everything with one of your two Pulvy's anyway.

Would a bloodsucker make sense here?

What would the Bloodsucker be for? Boosting critters are lobotomized, and everything else is blocked out by Hope.

Hope can fall to heavy CC.  Boodsuckers are great cheap CC that can help clear the feild in many situations.

I'll try out throwing in a Bloodsucker, and see if it makes any major difference.  The thing we need to watch out for, and this happened to CCYB, is making the deck too inflated.

Yeah, that's my fear to. If we fill deck with too many cards, it will fail on draw alone.

Although I do like the Parasite option. It can whittle down some bigger creatures well and it's costs are non-primary quanta for the deck to work.

Modifications I dig:
    -2 Ultharids, +2 Mind Flayers
-1 Imp. Steal, +1 Steam Machine.
    -1 Miracle, +1 FFQ
I am a fan of the Supernovas though. Going all towers certainly has it's benefits, but immediate gratification of quanta is huge with this deck since having that fast boost can make or break the game. As for the last modification, I'm doing it since I've had little difficulty with EM'ing when I do it and most of the time I have had a miracle in hand, I'd rather have had a FFQ. Since FFQ can be easier to lose versus Hope, 3 FFQ's seems to be better while still keeping the card count low.

Notes:

-I might try Bloodsucker to. Will have to experiment to see.
-Unupgraded Hope may be easier to cast by 1 :light, but Hope upped is huge with it's reduction of 1 damage. That can make a huge difference, and has for me, in games.

Keep the feedback coming though, I love it!!

I assume you're playing immortal Bloodsuckers, then. Which uses another Quintessence...

You don't have to use a quint on a bunch of matchups so i wouldn't bother adding another quint. I always add a bloodsucker to my rainbows that have no CC. They really do work great. Also adding 1 bloodsucker only pushes the deck to 36 which isn't that bad. But i guess it's just a preference thing.

I guess this is where I'm a bit confused.

Problem: Hope doesn't work if opponent has lots of creature control
Solution: Add Bloodsucker
Problem: Said "lots of creature control" means you need an immortal Bloodsucker

No what i meant was CC for my deck not FG's decks. For FG decks you indeed need to use a quint. But 3 quints are plenty to pass around.

Yeah, 3 quints gives lots of options.  There are a number of situations were bloodsucker > mindflayer for CC.  Lobo is great, but doesn't remove damage.
