Sorry, guess I read it too quickly.  Anyway, from my experiences, PA is needed.  I've been going with a modded version with 36, 37, or 40 cards and most versions I use have 2 PA.  I feel like it's saved me more than it hurts me.  Since most FGs have some type of PC, having an untouchable Pulvy/Perma could make all the difference.  I see it sorta like Quint.  I know CC is much more prevalent than PC, but when your survival depends on having a Pulvy/Perma on the field, I feel it's necessary.
12 out of 29 fake gods have perm control, excluding seism who has pillar control. So in other words, its a completely dead card over 50% of the time. 5 of those 12 only have 4 cards for PC, so its just a matter of baiting them. Some of the others, IE, Divine glory, Hermes, Dream Catcher, and sometimes obliterator, have to much PC for it to even matter, so thats 8 out of 12 its not to useful against.
If a card is needed against 3 out of 29 gods, is it really that useful?

To continue the discussion from PaulWog, there is a strong mod containing 1 PA that has been previously posted in the thread by tttt.

His discussion and stats posted can be found at: (1.272) Evaluation of Contemporary CCYB - statistics and farming guide (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,25878.0.html)

The inclusion of many cards and mods is a point of constant debate with CCYB, hence the 100+ pages of forum posts.

We are making a slow, but scientific attempt to try and clarify some of the more commonly debated points in this post: FG Efficiency Study - Applying statistics to all of the myths (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,25609.0.html)

PA is not *that* useful. That's why I just keep 1 with me. You get it early vs Jezebel - you win 90% of the time. Just off the top of my head, I feel safer with a PA in my hand against Seism, Hecate, Decay, Octane, Lionheart and probably a couple more FGs. I agree that FGs that are heavy on PC don't make much difference with 0 or 2 PAs, and I usually skip them.

I'm on the edge about protect artifact now. I finished upping my deck last night, and I'm moving on to making my own FG deck version to try to earn gold/rares a little faster.

I've found Fractal to be possibly just as useful as protect artifact. As in, fractal is often a very situational card which never gets played. In many games it wins the game though. I haven't actually counted the percentage of my wins that fractal has actually played a significant and game-changing roll in, and which games it has been a discarded card taking up drawspace. I'm just looking at fractal and thinking a change from the original deck like this might be something interesting to try (kind of reverting back to the unupped version):

add:
1x mindgate
1x protect artifact
1x improved antimatter
2x quantum tower

remove:
1x fractal

I found when I got a protect artifact out, my games were much more consistent; it's not necessary in all matchups, but it allows a quicker transition to gameboard dominance. The mindgate as well helps with dominance: It acts as an aether quantum hourglass. This allows for pumping out quicker element-producing cards, as well as stealing the opponent's counters (ex. explosions, which only cost 1 to play). The value of mindgate may outweigh the value of fractal in game-to-game scenarios. However I might be entirely incorrect. I see it, however, as a choice between the two... and in this case, mindgate can be played and activated quite quickly as opposed to fractal, which requires some momentum or favorable situation to be played.

edit: Alright it's later in the day and I've tried this change. Everything is upgraded with the exception of enchant artifact. So far I've found that the wins are almost identical really... doesn't feel too much different. One big bonus though is having just a couple extra cards in the deck; that's helping with the last couple turns in a game where I would've normally decked.

Easily. A win from a fake god is potentially over 3.6k electrum.

Well if there is need for all upped cards that would be one of the best ways to get them  :)

For a day I was stumbling trying to kill one FG, but thanks to this deck I've been able to fare well and in 2-3 days I have enough for a fully upgraded deck! :))

I'm loving it! The deck maker and the tips are awesome! I can't stop feeling myself! Oh ok the last wasn't true. :) Thanks again!
Here's my latest fight with Morte.

Added 2 Steals, 1 Protect Artifact and another Quantum Tower for fun :)

(Edit) Note: I started out with the Flay 'em deck to slowly build into CCWB. :)

I first upgraded 8 Quantum Towers then 3 Electrum Hourglasses. The battles using the Flay 'Em deck were arduous, but as soon as I got 6 supernovas I switched to the CCWB deck. I then upped permafrosts, lava destroyers, pulverizers and the rest came next. Fun! :D Now it's time to explore the game in depth. :)

And a rare Dream Catcher win :)) FG had a bad draw and just fractaled some mini hims. :D

Thanks again for the wonderful deck and this great game zanz :D

I just want to clarify, what did you mean exactly by "feeling yourself".  :-X
