While I accept that European players wasn't too active on this voting, so the tourney stays at this horrendous time,
I'd like to quote myself. And hope that TOs will consider the idea, since I guess everyone wants more and more players
at tourneys.

Couldn't we make such a cycle which totally excludes 2AM-6AM for all respective timezones?

So what timezones are you planning to exclude? If we plan a cycle that excludes 2am - 6am for all time zones, there will never be a tournament. And is that exclusion only for start time - or do you want to include that for playing time as well?

If that exclusion is only for start time (i.e. you could start at 2am and end at 6am) and if you include only North America, from the west coast (not including Alaska) to Newfoundland, and include Europe from the UK to Eastern Europe, then tournaments can only be start from 1pm GMT to 12am GMT. Which still excludes Asian or Australian players.

Yes I know that this is an issue, with my remark I just wanted to draw some attention to the whole thing.
Hopefully TOs can figure out something, by evaluating the number of active players in different regions.
(I do not wish to exclude regions with smaller player base, though.) It's a pity the game is less popular
nowadays and there isn't enough players to held 2 tourneys/week for different timezones.
