Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.


Special Rules

• There are two groups of players in this tourney: Infectors and Patients. In each match an Infector faces a Patient.
  You may choose your group before the match. You may choose a different group for each match. If both players chooses
  the same group the TO will determine the roles for the actual match.

  The TO will roll a 1d2 for the player who is the Player 1 in the bracket. 1 = Infector, 2 = Patient.
  This also determines the role of the Player 2 as well.

  Only the upped version is usable for Pests, hence the listing. Any other cards are fully available - both unupped/upped.
  
  
• Infectors can use 10 upgrades per deck. Their deck can contain a maximum of 39 cards.
  
  
• Infectors must use at least 4 copies of contagious cards (Virus, Plague, Parasite, Pest) in each of their decks.
  
  
• Their deck must contain at least 1 Virus/Retrovirus. For each further copy of Virus/Retrovirus
  they gain 1 upgrade.
  
  
• Every copy of Mutation/Improved Mutation also increases the upgrade count of the deck by 1.
  
  
• Every copy of SoV and Discord decreases the upgrade count of the deck by 1.

• Patients can use 6 upgrades per deck. Their deck must consist exactly of 40 cards.
  
  
• For each copy of Discord, Miracle, Sundial and Shard of Patience their upgrade count is reduced by 1.
  
  
• Every copy of Precognition increases their upgrade count by 1.
  
  
• Patients must use a minimum of 4 copies of healing cards (Stone Skin, Heal, Druidic Staff, Empathic Bond,
  Shard of Gratitude, Holy Light, Miracle, Sanctuary, Light Nymph, Shard of Divinity) and a maximum of 14
  in each of their decks. (Shortly: you must have 4-14 copies of these cards per deck.)
  

• Any PPMs (including Quantum Pillars) are usable (for both groups).

Q: Can the 1 copy of Virus/Retrovirus be a dead card?
A: Yes.

Q: Can the 4+ copies of contagious/healing cards be dead cards?
A: Nope.

Q: Can I have negative upgrades?

I'm not a fan of this, but

1) I can't do anything against it.
2) Game is almost dead, let's see if we can gather new players.

Previously: Gave Infectors some more options, check the rules and tell me if you think further tuning is needed. 

Now: Check the slight changes at the Patients' side as well! Check the rules as well, not just the cards!

I don't get much feedback from you... but I'd like to know one thing: how much is it disruptive that the rules/allowed cards are keep changing?
(I know it can be, but I don't know how many players are actually making decks for the tourney besides Vindi and me...)

It's disruptive as it's hard to know if you're done or not, so it'd be useful to say when the choices are final barring ambiguity

At some point the cure costs more than the disease for (potentially dubious) benefit of changes

Yeah can understand that. Didn't have much time to test, and when test data started to flow in I made those changes.
I won't make any more changes unless some gamebreaking issue is found.
