Weekly Tournament - March 3rd - Elements the Chess 2 - Unupgraded

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.



Special Rules

• Upgraded cards, shards, nymphs and Discord are not allowed.
• Decks must have no less and no more than 8 Pawns, 2 Rooks, 2 Knights, 2 Bishops, 1 Queen and 1 King from the lists below. Any unlisted card is unrestricted, except banned cards.
• Dead cards are not allowed.
• Maximum deck size is 30 cards.
• After each played round, you can promote (change) 1 Pawn to 1 Queen/Rook/Bishop/Knight.

TOURNAMENTS Q&A

Q: What are dead cards?
A: Cards that you cannot summon, because your deck cannot generate enough quanta for them.

Examples:
1. A deck has only 1 Immolation, which can generate 1 . This deck has no other cards to generate , so Dry Spell in that deck is a dead card.
2. A deck has Soul Catcher but doesn't have any way to generate a death effect on its own, so Arsenic in that deck counts as a dead card.

Q: Is Pawn promotion optional?
A: Yes.

Q: How flexible is Pawn promotion?
A: Very flexible. Your promoted Pawn can be a Rook in game 1 and a Queen in game 2. You can also decide to not promote anything in game 3, even though you already promoted something in the previous games. The promoted pieces can be different, the same or partially different.
